Atlanta’s newest breakout artist Lánre kicks off his 2022 with new single “No Bodies” (feat. Reed Willy). The track was produced by hitmaker Mileage (2 Chainz, LightSkinKeisha, Coca Vango). Coming off the success of previous single “LA”, which received great reviews and was placed on Tidal’s Future Sound editorial playlist alongside the likes of The Weeknd and BTS, Lánre looks set to continue his impressive rise with this latest release.

The track features fellow Atlanta singer-songwriter Reed Willy, who showcases his sultry vocals alongside Lánre’s smooth tonality that fans have grown to love. The two artists use comical metaphors and imagery to tell the story of the lengths people will go to to keep their relationships private and why.

Speaking more on the release, Lánre says, “The concept of ‘No Bodies’ came to me one day when I was scrolling through a comments section on Instagram. I kept seeing this phrase ‘no face, no case’, which basically means that if you don’t post the face/body of the person you’re going out with, you won’t be held accountable to call them your boyfriend/girlfriend. I thought this was hilarious and a really good song idea. Personally, I’m always dodging questions from my friends and family about who I’m dating or if I’m dating at all. Part of the song is about me keeping that side of my life private for now, so the title can also be read as ‘No Bodies’ business.”

This interesting take on modern dating paired with the song’s catchy hook and infectious melodies proves why Lánre has been receiving so much buzz. Having recently performed at the iconic SOB’s in New York, expect to see and hear plenty more from Lánre as he prepares to perform live shows in Austin (during SXSW week), Atlanta, Denver, NYC and LA beginning in March 2022. Rihanna is expected to release a new album this year. After much speculation, the 33-year-old superstar delighted fans recently by confirming that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child together, and she also looks set to drop a surprise record dedicated to her fans in the coming months. VIDEOS BELOWEarlier this month, Rihanna reassured fans that new music is coming, insisting becoming a parent won’t stop her from releasing her long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Anti.

She said at the time: “Well, yes … You’re still going to get music from me.”

When jokingly asked if she will drop some lullabies, Rihanna replied: “Oh my goodness, not a lullaby. My fans would kill me that they waited this long for a lullaby!”

In December, the Barbados-born “Talk That Talk” singer and business mogul promised that new music is coming “soon, soon, soon”.

In an exchange with a paparazzi, who asked: “Any new music? Anything?”, she replied: “Soon, soon, soon.”

Rihanna previously promised that her new album will be “worth the wait”, while she has teased that fans can expect a “completely different sound”.

The “Rude Boy” hitmaker insisted that she is “always” working on her music and despite fans’ pleas for her to share her latest material, she wants to wait until she’s completely satisfied.

She said: “I’m always working on new music. Just because I haven’t released an album in a few years doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on it. 

Rihanna previously said: “I’m not just going to put music out because people are craving it. I’m going to make it worth the wait – and it will be worth the wait.”

Almost entirely recorded remotely due to COVID, Gomez wanted to work with artists that she “admired and respected within the Latin community.” She tapped multiple Latin GRAMMY® Award-winner Tainy [Bad Bunny, J Balvin] and NEON16 as executive producers. Tasked with bringing Selena’s musical vision to life, Tainy expressed, “To be reunited with Selena on this project was amazing. We wanted to merge work I’ve been doing with the pop arena Selena has always mastered, to create something that was authentic to who she is. I’m a huge fan of her work and to have this responsibility has been an incredible honor.”

True to her vision, Gomez’s first Spanish EP presents a collection of 7 tracks, featuring collaborations with Latin GRAMMY® nominee and urban phenomenon Rauw Alejandro, multi-platinum urban artist Myke Towers and renowned international producer and DJ, DJ Snake.

From a visual perspective, Gomez collaborated with most influential Latin creators to bring her vision to life through beautiful imagery. She enlisted the duo of Los Pérez—Tania Verduzco and Adrián Pérez— and Fernando Nogari to direct the project’s first two accompanying music videos, and also tapped Erica Hernandez and Camila Falquez to create the EPs artwork concept, connecting imagery and the artist’s Mexican heritage. For their most recent single “Selfish Love,” Selena and DJ Snake recruited the award-winning filmmaker Rodrigo Saavedra.

Earlier this year, Selena revealed her first Spanish-language recording in a decade “De Una Vez,” which trended at #1 worldwide. Attracting widespread praise, Vogue raved, “The tale told through ‘De Una Vez’ has resonance no matter what language you speak,” and Billboard called it “empowering.”

“De Una Vez” was followed by the reggaeton infused and seductive track, “Baila Conmigo,” featuring Latin urban phenomenon Rauw Alejandro. The video portrayed “the sense of isolation we all are experiencing right now and how music really does connect us all no matter where we are in the world.” Produced by Tainy, Albert Hype, Jota Rosa, and NEON16, the track merges energized reggaeton rhythms and guitar with an empowering hook and seductive verses. After racking up 38.2 million followers on Instagram, Will Smith is the latest celebrity content creator to begin posting on TikTok. In his first post on Wednesday night, special effects wizard and video content creator, Caleb Natale is seen scrolling through photos of Smith in his phone while Andy Mineo and Lecrae‘s “Coming In Hot,” plays in the background. Suddenly Smith is plucked from the screen and into reality. Dazed and confused, he glances around stating, “I guess I’m on TikTok now. That was weird.
The song, Smith selected to mark his TikTok entry “Coming In Hot” by Andy Mineo and Lecrae has reached over 12 million streams on Spotify since its release in July. The video released on September 13th has nearly 400,000 views! The Reach Records’ track for both artists has been featured extensively in multiple Stephen Curry, FOX, and ESPN sport campaigns, and commercials. If you visit TikTok, you’ll see it trending as well! Smith, a relative newcomer to the platform has already racked up over 720,000 fans on the site since his page was posted on October 2nd.
The “Coming In Hot” music video is directed by Antonio Santos and features Lecrae and Andy Mineo disguised as police officers speeding thru Los Angeles to rescue NBC’s “World of Dance” group Kinjaz.

ATLANTA) – September 29, 2019 – Yesterday, thousands of young locals convened at the Georgia Freight Depot to experience “Destination: Atlanta,” a one-day free music festival hosted by Journeys and adidas Originals. The second annual event included live performances from Lil Yachty,Kodie Shane, Marlo, Jamee Cornelia and Mike Floss and featured DJ sets by Heroes x Villains and Ferrari Simmons. Lifestyle influencer Kenny Burns emcee’d the event.

Guests were not only treated to a free concert, but enjoyed a variety of creative activations such as the t-shirt “Maker’s Lab,” a customize-your-adidas station, the living art wall, lawn games, a “cloud” machine and the festival’s centerpiece: the foam tower!

“Destination: Atlanta” is the second installment of the annual “Destination” series, which launched last year in San Diego and drew over 3,400 attendees.
