Eminem could be claiming his ninth UK Number 1 single this week as his latest single River sets course for the top spot on the Official Singles Chart.

New entries and high climbers

Two more singles are set to make their Top 10 debut this week: Jax Jones‘ Breathe ft. Ina Wroldsen jumps from 14 to Number 6, and Sigrid‘s Strangers vaults 86 places to Number 8 following her BBC Sound Of 2018 win.

Camila Cabello‘s latest effort Never Be The Same edges closer to the Top 10, up 16 spots to 13, Portugal The Man‘s Feel It Still lifts 11 places to 21, and Dua Lipa‘s IDGAF has so far climbed 12 places this week to Number 26.

Rita Ora rebounds one slot to Number 3 with Anywhere, ahead of Ramz’ Barking, up four to Number 4, and Clean Bandit’s I Miss You featuring Julia Michaels completes the Top 5.

New Entries and High Climbers

Bruno Mars’s remix of Finesse featuring Cardi B becomes his 11th UK Top 10 single and first in over a year at Number 7, while Craig David is also new in the Top 10 this week – I Know You ft. Bastille earns Craig a 14th Top 10 and Bastille a third.

Filthy, the first taste of Justin Timberlake’s new album Man of the Woods scores JT a 25th UK Top 40 hit at Number 15, one position ahead of Keala Settle and The Greatest Showman Ensemble’s This Is Me; rising 12 placings to Number 16, the song won a Golden Globe earlier last Sunday.

Not3s’ My Lover climbs five rungs to Number 18 to mark his first footing in the UK Top 20, while two more songs from The Greatest Showman soundtrack make their mark – The Greatest Show at Number 23, and Rewrite The Stars pops in at Number 26.

J Hus’ Bouff Daddy (27), Camila Cabello’s Never Be The Same (29), and Feel It Still by Portugal. The Man (32) reach new peaks, and there’s more good news for Kendrick Lamar and SZA; their Black Panther soundtrack single All The Stars debuts at Number 33.

Finally, three songs enter the Official Chart Top 40 for the very first time. Steel Banglez’ Bad featuring Yungen and MoStack flies seven to Number 37, Dua Lipa’s new single IDGAF vaults to Number 38, and US rapper Cardi B lands at Number 40 with Cartier Bardi featuring 21 Savage.

Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé’s “Perfect” tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week. The song also takes over as the most-heard hit on U.S. radio, reaching No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart.

Meanwhile, Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” featuring Young Thug, rebounds to its No. 2 Hot 100 peak.

Plus, Halsey’s “Bad at Love” continues its Hot 100 ascent, rising from No. 9 to a new No. 6 high.

Let’s run down the top 10 of the Jan. 13-dated Hot 100, which blends all-genre streaming, airplay and sales data. All charts will update on Billboard.com on Tuesday (Jan. 9).

“Perfect,” released on Atlantic Records — first as a solo track by Sheeran on his album ÷ (Divide) — spends a sixth week at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 109,000 downloads sold (down 34 percent) in the week ending Jan. 4, according to Nielsen Music.

The song also lifts 2-1 on the Radio Songs tally, up 7 percent to 139 million audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 7 (with radio playing both Sheeran’s original solo version and the duet). Sheeran scores his second Radio Songs leader, following ÷ lead single “Shape of You,” which reigned for 12 weeks beginning last Feb. 25.

Beyoncé adds her sixth solo Radio Songs No. 1 and first in nearly nine years. Her previous toppers: “Crazy in Love,” featuring JAY-Z (eight weeks, 2003); “Baby Boy,” featuring Sean Paul (nine, 2003); “Check on It,” featuring Slim Thug (three, 2006); “Irreplaceable” (11, 2006-97); and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” (five, 2009). Beyoncé first ruled Radio Songs as a member of Destiny’s Child with four singles (consecutively) in 2000-01: “Say My Name,” “Jumpin’, Jumpin’,” “Independent Women Part 1” and “Survivor.”

On Streaming Songs, which “Perfect” led for a week, the song slips 2-4 with 36.4 million U.S. streams (down 4 percent) in the week ending Jan. 4.
