Staying true to his word, the veteran emcee, who has seen his fair share of reinvention in years past has officially begun to usher in this new chapter, previously making an appearance at the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration alongside Gospel recording artists like Tye Tribbett and The Clark Sisters, all set to appear on the project.

Most recently, he’s dropped off the first deliverable to come of his forthcoming Bible of Love in the form of a music video for the 32-track double album’s closer, “Words Are Few.”

Featuring B. Slade, the video isn’t lacking thematically as Snoop sings out his transparent lyrics: “I’m not where I’m supposed to be / Sitting here smoking trees / When I should be on my knees / When my words are few.”

The new ink features Cardi B’s name sprawled under Buttercup from “The Powerpuff Girls.” It’s an ode to one of Bardi’s favorite cartoon characters, which she also commemorated with an iced-out pendant, as seen in the “MotorSport” video.

Offset and Cardi are engaged, but the two have been fielding infidelity rumors for the past few months. Bardi seemed to confirm those talks with an onstage warning. “Do that shit again and you gon’ lose your wife,” she said last month.

Recently, however, she revealed that the two still plan on getting married. She even shared her potential song options for their first dance. “I don’t know what song he’d pick,” she said. “I know the one that I would pick. I’m not gonna say it because I’m not gonna sound sensitive. It’s between Al B. Sure! and Grace Jones.”

Success has also followed the pair. Currently, Bacardi is on seven Hot 100 singles, while Offset pops up on four. The power couple appears together on Migos’ “MotorSport,” which is sitting at No. 8.

He did the same thing at the beginning of 2017. Less than two months later, he dropped the back-to-back albums Futureand Hndrxx. Later, he capped off his big year off with the Young Thug collab mixtape Super Slimey.

His explained his early 2017 IG break in a Zane Lowe interview.

“It was probably the best thing I ever done,” Future said. “‘Cause […] I don’t have to respond to certain things that’s going on, even in my life. “I wanted to give attention to my music, my kids, my family,” he continued. “Social media can take up a lot of your life. I wanted to be able to give my fans all of me.”

In addition to deleting his IG content, it’s also been a couple of weeks since Future’s put anything on Twitter, suggesting he’s trying to find his musical beast mode, so to speak.

A year after disappointing scores of fans because she just had to go and have twins, Beyoncé is back in the Coachella fold. The zeitgeisty California festival announced its complete lineup on Tuesday night and the Queen Bey is among the headliners, along with The Weeknd and Eminem. As usual, Coachella will be staged on consecutive three-day weekends in April, with identical lineups each weekend.

The Weeknd, appropriately, will kick things off on April 13 with a lineup that includes SZA, The War on Drugs, St. Vincent, Vince Staples and Bleachers. On April 14, Beyoncé will lead a bill featuring HAIM, Tyler the Creator, David Byrne, Alt-J, Fleet Foxes, Angel Olsen and First Aid Kit. On April 15, Eminem will top a bill featuring ODESZA, Portugal. the Man, Migos, Miguel, King Krule and Kamasi Washington. Each of the lineups will be repeated the following weekend.

None of last year’s headliners—Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga, who replaced the pregnant Beyoncé—are appearing this year.

This part of the conflict surfaced during last week’s episode of The Queens Court, a web series Khia hosts with Ts Madison. During this particular show, Khia, who’s never had any problem airing out her beefs, called out Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter for clapping back at Khia’s diss toward her mom Toya Wright.

In her episode, Khia claims that Trina was once Reginae’s step mother and that she used to hook up with her mother Toya, her father Lil Wayne and his father figure, Baby.

“That’s how far me and your daddy [Lil Wayne] go way back,” Khia said to Reginae, who signed to her father’s Young Money Entertainment years ago. “Back to a time when your step mama Sour Puss [Trina] was fuckin’ your Baby,” she continued. “You know, no she’s not the baddest because she fucked your mama and your daddy. That don’t make her the baddest, baby. That make you a damn fool to even bring her up. Now, since your mama didnt tell you that she was swinging with your daddy and your step-daddy, Baby, I’m gon’ be the one to tell you: don’t bring that up no more baby. Don’t bring that up never again.”

For her part, Trina recently clapped back during an appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. Trina threw her bit of shade when DJ Envy brought up Khia’s claim that she didn’t write her own lyrics.

“We don’t address cockroaches on The Breakfast Club,” Trina said, taking aim directly at Khia. “What I’m trying to tell you is when you look at the Trina music, you look at the Trina name, you wonder how Trina lasts for 17 years, you wonder how Trina gets so many bags, hmmmmm—that royalty is very good daddy.”

In another newer episode of The Queens Court, Khia calls Trina a bedbug. “You is not the baddest bitch, you do not look better than me—bitch you do not have more hit singles than me.
