This exclusive evening is dedicated to celebrating and honoring influential men in entertainment and business. Building on the success of its previous events in Atlanta, Georgia, the braintrust, Sherie Phillips, dedicated her next rendition to celebrating those here in New York.

Under the Theme “The Awakening of the Underdogs,” the evening will celebrate men who have overcome obstacles, redefined excellence and continue to inspire others through their resilience. “We wanted to provide men in the entertainment and business space with an opportunity to just relax. Allowing someone to finally cater and take care of them, said Sherie Phillips. “We created Men’s Appreciation in 2023. We want to honor our men in this space while also emphasizing the importance of mental health, self-care and personal growth.”

With the red carpet affair scheduled to kick off at 6pm, guest will experience a luxurious spa treatment from Lux Elite Wellness of Spa Boss Tribe by Candace Holyfield. This Spa treatment designed to promote relaxation and mental clarity while also enjoying premium libation, from our sponsors Luc Belaire and and artfully curated selection of light bites. The atmosphere will provide a serene ambiance and create a space for honorees and attendees to recharge and reflect in the company of their peers.

The night will culminate with honoring several members of the entertainment and business community for their ability to overcome, redefine excellence and their continued pursuit to defy odds and rise above. Each of these honorees have worked diligently to inspire the next generation of entertainers and business leaders.

Servers walked around with hors d’oeuvres and fancy drinks were being served at the bar. The cover stars and honorees of the evening, Young Joc and his wife Kendra Robinson, walked around greeting everyone and being good hosts. After a while everyone was summoned outside to the patio area where a stage, lights, and Dj were set up with the flashing lights of the city in the background. Joc got on stage and thanked everyone for coming out and the party givers Hype Hair, and played a couple of his songs.

He introduced the female rapper Erica Banks who he brought to the stage as his special guest performer. She put on quite a show and got the crowd hyped up. The night ended with the cover reveal of a huge poster covered by a big black curtain being pulled down in a dramatic fashion, exposing the cover of the married couple who stood by with pleased smiles on their faces.

Everyone cheered and congratulated the two including their friends and costars from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Everyone left grateful of a good time and with gift bags from Mielle Organics. It was a classy and beautiful experience and well put on event.
