Dallas-based rock band Overstreet Knox today released their debut single, “Breathe,” a heartbreaking, guitar-driven track about longing for a person no longer in your life. Stream it on all digital platforms here: found.ee/breathe-ok.

The band shares, “‘Breathe’ speaks to all no matter your background. With emotional choruses and guitar-driven melodies, this song encapsulates the yearning nature of loss. You always want what you can’t have, so just breathe again.” They add, “This was one of the first songs we ever wrote. It details longing for a person no longer in your life. Whether that be romantic or platonic, the consuming desire for this person to just ‘breathe your name again’ is simple but will seemingly fix it all.”

“Breathe” is the first taste of more new music to come for the group, comprised of Griffin Vail (vocals), Jack Lambeth (drums), Jack Poncy (guitar), and Luke Hill (bass).

The band will play a special hometown Halloween show at Sundown at Granada in Dallas on October 30 — their first show with original music out in the world. Their most recent show at the venue sold out, and they now hold the all-time attendance record there. Tickets for their Halloween return are on sale now.

Upcoming Live Dates:
10/30 – Dallas, TX @ Sundown at Granada

About Overstreet Knox:

Overstreet Knox (OSK) is Dallas’ new-age rock band, on a mission to put the live back in live music — the kind of night where you don’t want to miss a second.

Blending classic rock influence with modern energy, their sound is one-of-a-kind, forged by members from Alabama, Florida, DC, and Texas into something you won’t hear anywhere else. That cross-country mix shows up in every set: dancy grooves that get feet moving, hard-hitting riffs that will be stuck in your head, and sing-along melodies that turn strangers into a crowd.

OSK doesn’t just play music, they create an environment. From the first note, every set is audience-forward, built so each person in the room finds their moment. Whether that’s dancing up front or singing along to every word, your experience will be unforgettable.
