Michele Ducci releases ‘You Lay The Path By Walking On It’
“You Lay the Path by Walking on It” is the second single from former M+A and Santii member Michele Ducci’s debut solo album, “SIVE”. It’s a bright, uplifting pop song with a bouncy chorus that sticks in the brain: “The path is walking on me while I’m walking on it, while I’m walking on it.”
About the inspiration for the song, Michele says, “This is one of the first songs I wrote after a long period of no longer touching a musical instrument. I was walking around and whistling the theme that had suddenly come to my mind. As I walked, I thought that often, when we have an event or trip, we spend so much time anticipating it that when it arrives we can feel disappointed. We have waited so long for it that as soon as it has been reached, it seems swept away in a second like a face traced on the sand and blown away by the wind. As in Kafka’s “The Next Village” story you feel in a situation where it seems that not even a whole life can be enough to get to the nearest village.
Then, continuing to walk and whistle and forgetting that I had to go somewhere, I realized that it is never a question of getting somewhere but of making the path by walking on it. From the start it was an unknown child who sang while walking and I found myself singing with him, serenely whistling like the confidence of the flowers that bloom every spring. “So nice, so blind”.

What if the world isn’t too loud… what if it’s just your head?
Brno-based duo 2AP – Two Alien Planets tackle that familiar feeling in their new single “Sweet Harmony”: a warm, guitar-driven alternative track about finding your way back to the present when your mind refuses to switch off.
It starts with a bright guitar riff and Lenka K.’s airy soprano, sounding almost like a breath of fresh air. Then the song begins to expand. Guitars gather momentum, the rhythm lifts, and Jarek H.’s warm baritone joins the picture.
By the final chorus, it’s no longer one voice trying to quiet the noise. It’s two voices finding their way through it together.
And that’s where “Sweet Harmony” really hits.
The lyrics balance simple, beautiful things — wind, sunshine, rain, a strand of hair in the breeze — against a much less peaceful inner landscape: a “stormy brain,” angry birds and snakes of grief.
There are no wellness clichés here. No promise that everything suddenly becomes fine.
Instead, the song suggests something more realistic: maybe the beauty is already there. We just have to hear it.
Musically, 2AP blend the melodic warmth of alternative pop-rock with a cinematic indie atmosphere. It’s dreamy without drifting away, emotional without becoming gloomy, and driven by the chemistry between Lenka’s soprano and Jarek’s baritone.
Think 90s/2000s alternative warmth meeting contemporary indie songwriting, with enough guitar to keep things moving and enough space to let the lyrics breathe.
The artwork captures the same tension: warm flowers behind a dark fence. Beauty on one side. Something getting in the way on the other.
“Sweet Harmony” doesn’t ask you to tear the fence down.
It just asks you to look through it.
