Sensei Michael, the multitalented Nigerian-American artist, songwriter, producer and vocalist, has unveiled his latest musical offering with the release of his captivating single, “Blue Water”. Sensei Michael’s creative process for “Blue Water” was as organic as it was seamless. “I created ‘Blue Water’ – produced, recorded, mixed and mastered – in my bedroom as soon as I woke up from the night before”, he reveals. “It was a seamless creative process because I was playing around with the idea for about a week in my subconscious mind. Once the idea took form, I was able to easily express it and bring it to life.”

Dallas-based rock band Overstreet Knox today released their debut single, “Breathe,” a heartbreaking, guitar-driven track about longing for a person no longer in your life. Stream it on all digital platforms here: found.ee/breathe-ok.
The band shares, “‘Breathe’ speaks to all no matter your background. With emotional choruses and guitar-driven melodies, this song encapsulates the yearning nature of loss. You always want what you can’t have, so just breathe again.” They add, “This was one of the first songs we ever wrote. It details longing for a person no longer in your life. Whether that be romantic or platonic, the consuming desire for this person to just ‘breathe your name again’ is simple but will seemingly fix it all.”
“Breathe” is the first taste of more new music to come for the group, comprised of Griffin Vail (vocals), Jack Lambeth (drums), Jack Poncy (guitar), and Luke Hill (bass).
The band will play a special hometown Halloween show at Sundown at Granada in Dallas on October 30 — their first show with original music out in the world. Their most recent show at the venue sold out, and they now hold the all-time attendance record there. Tickets for their Halloween return are on sale now.
