The nicest man in stand-up is having the biggest year in stand-up. Nate Bargatze’s Big Dumb Eyes World Tour – named after his New York Times bestselling book – plays the BYU-Idaho Center in Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, October 23, then settles into a Las Vegas residency run at Encore at Wynn on December 9-12, with more Vegas dates January 21-24.

The tour just played Auburn University’s Neville Arena on October 16 as part of its college swing. The numbers behind the run are staggering: more than 2 million tickets sold, and Bargatze recently set the record for the highest one-year gross by a comedy performer in history.

The Atlantic called him "The Nicest Man in Stand-Up," and his clean, deadpan, everybody’s-dad humor has turned arena crowds into believers. If Rexburg or Vegas is anywhere near you, this is the show to see this season.

Theo Von - I'm Doing Fine, Netflix special poster

The Rat King is back. Theo Von returned to Netflix on October 20 with I’m Doing Fine, his third stand-up special for the streamer and his first in five years.

Directed by Kevin Morra, the hour finds Von doing what only he can do – spinning stories from his back-road Louisiana upbringing and a lifetime of wonderfully bad decisions into philosophy you cannot get anywhere else. In between specials, Von built This Past Weekend into one of the biggest podcasts in the world, and the special plays like a homecoming: same wild wiring, sharper than ever.

I’m Doing Fine is streaming now on Netflix. If you have somehow never seen a Theo Von hour, clear your evening – there is nobody else like him.
