New Heights Claims Adidas 3SSB 17U Title at Palmetto Road as Antonio Pemberton Puts On a Show
New Heights left Rock Hill with the top prize. The program won the 17U championship at the 2026 Adidas 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships, held July 16–19, 2026, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with Mass Rivals finishing as the 17U runner-up, according to 247Sports and Hoops HQ.
The weekend’s loudest individual performance, though, belonged to the runner-up’s point guard. Antonio Pemberton, a Brewster Academy guard in the class of 2027 ranked 33rd nationally by 247Sports, starred for Mass Rivals all weekend. Hoops HQ reported that Pemberton scored 29 points and hit the game-winning shot in a 71–69 win over Compton Magic, and that he scored 31 points in the quarterfinals.
247Sports told the same story with its own numbers: its coverage credited Pemberton with averaging over 26 points per game across the Palmetto Road weekend, with games of 31 and 33 points. Whichever account you take, Pemberton was the name college coaches left Rock Hill talking about.
The setting amplified everything. The Palmetto Road Championships are Adidas’s summer finale on its 3SSB circuit, staged the same weekend as Nike’s Peach Jam, roughly two hours apart in the Carolinas, per Hoops HQ. The weekend also fell inside the July NCAA live evaluation period, and 247Sports noted college staffs — including Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler and his assistants — in attendance evaluating prospects at both Palmetto Road and Peach Jam.
Below the 17U division, Team Loaded swept the younger titles at the same event, winning both the 16U and 15U Palmetto Road championships, per 247Sports. But the weekend belonged to New Heights at the top of the bracket — and to Pemberton, whose runner-up run was the breakout story of Adidas’s summer finale. New Heights’ title closed the 3SSB summer at the top of the circuit’s oldest division. For a circuit built to stand alongside Peach Jam on the same July weekend, Palmetto Road delivered its own championship moment — and, in Pemberton, its own star.

Florida Rebels Capture First Peach Jam 17U Crown as Cayden Daughtry Delivers a Tournament for the Ages
The Florida Rebels are Peach Jam champions for the first time — and they got there behind a tournament run for the ages from Cayden Daughtry. The Orlando-based program beat Dallas-based Drive Nation 71–60 in the Nike EYBL 17U championship game on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta, South Carolina, to win the program’s first Peach Jam 17U crown.
Daughtry, a class of 2027 point guard from Calvary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale, was the best player on the floor when it mattered most. He scored 33 points on 9-of-16 shooting — 3-of-5 from three and 12-of-13 at the free-throw line — with nine rebounds, six assists and one block in the title game.
Nike created a Tournament MVP award for the event’s 30th edition and presented it to Daughtry during the semifinals, making him the first Tournament MVP in Peach Jam history. Across eight games, he averaged 32.3 points, 6.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game, leading the entire event in scoring.
His pool-play stretch may have been even better. Daughtry broke the Peach Jam single-game scoring record with 43 points on 14-of-24 shooting in a triple-overtime 84–83 loss to the NY RENS, and he broke the five-game pool-play scoring record previously held by Cam Thomas by averaging 34.8 points per game across pool play.
The Rebels went 7–1 at Peach Jam, beating Team CP3 in Saturday’s quarterfinal round on the way to the final. Florida forward Carson Crawford, a 2027 prospect from Fleming Island High School, posted eight points, six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in the final per the EYBL box score, and averaged 7.9 points and 8.1 rebounds for the tournament. Drive Nation reached the final with only six available players after Marcus Spears Jr. left the team early to class up and commit to Texas. Daughtry, meanwhile, had already led the full EYBL season in scoring at 25.6 points per game before Peach Jam began — then saved the best week of his summer for the biggest stage grassroots basketball has.
