Worcester-born restaurant and entertainment venue expands to Boston, bringing a new destination for live music, dining and nightlife to Downtown.
Off The Rails, the Worcester-born restaurant, live music and entertainment venue, has officially opened its second location at 25 School Street in Downtown Boston, bringing its signature blend of Nashville-inspired dining, live music and high-energy nightlife to the heart of the city.
Formerly Scholars American Bistro & Cocktail Lounge, the new Off The Rails Boston represents a significant transformation of the longtime Downtown destination. The venue has been completely reimagined to create an entertainment-forward experience designed to bring together live music, dining, nightlife and the energy of both Nashville and Boston.
Co-owned by Cliff Rucker and Managing Partner Chris Besaw, Off The Rails Boston builds on the success of the brand's original Worcester location while introducing a larger-scale entertainment experience to one of Boston's most prominent neighborhoods.
âFrom the beginning, our vision for Off The Rails has been to create a destination where great food, live music and a memorable atmosphere come together,â said Chris Besaw. âExpanding to Boston is a natural next step for us. Boston is a dynamic city with a rich history of hospitality, entertainment and live music, and we are proud to be part of that community. We have invested a great deal in bringing this space to life, and we look forward to building a lasting presence in Boston.â
The Boston location features a Nashville-inspired menu with elevated Americana fare, craft cocktails and a full-service bar, paired with a robust entertainment schedule featuring live bands, DJs, country music, line dancing and other special events.
The venue features two performance areas, upgraded sound and lighting, and a redesigned interior incorporating Nashville-inspired elements throughout the space. The goal is to create an environment that can transition seamlessly from daytime dining and drinks into a high-energy nightlife and live music destination.
Off The Rails Boston officially began welcoming guests with a soft opening on October 1, followed by its Grand Opening celebration on October 3 featuring country artist, Redferrin, and a full night of live entertainment. The venue has continued its entertainment programming with concerts, open mic nights, line dancing and additional performances scheduled throughout October and beyond.
Located in the heart of Downtown, Off The Rails Boston is positioned within walking distance of Bostonâs major entertainment, business and tourism destinations, making it accessible to both local residents and visitors.
With an expanding calendar of live performances and special events, Off The Rails Boston plans to continue building its reputation as a destination for live music, country culture, dining and nightlife in Downtown Boston.
