OK GO RELAUNCH THEIR COLLABORATIVE AND ABSURDLY ADDICTIVE WORD GAME “SAY THE SAME THING”
Great minds think alike – and now there’s an app to prove it. GRAMMY Award-winning rock band OK Go and Space Inch have announced the relaunch of their beloved collaborative word game, Say The Same Thing, now available on iOS and Android.

Here’s how it works: each player blurts out a random word and then guesses a word that connects those two words. Equal parts telepathy test and trust fall, the game rewards creativity, empathy, and the very particular thrill of actually getting on the same wavelength as another human. Damian Kulash and Andy Ross recently put their own mind-melding skills to the test on Netflix’s “The Puzzle Room with David Kwong.” The episode is available to stream now. Watch clips from the episode HERE.
Originally released in 2013, the game has been downloaded 1.83 million times on iOS, earned an Apple Editor’s Choice distinction, was named runner-up for Apple’s Game of the Year in three countries, and was awarded the App Store’s “50 billionth app download.” Now the cult favorite is back with brand-new ways to play: Group Play (bring the whole friend group in on the fun) and a Daily Challenge (think Wordle, but with more mind-reading). Play the Daily Challenge HERE.
OK Go initially developed the game over a decade ago while on tour (fun fact: the band’s guitar player, Andy Ross was a computer science major and coded the app). In a YouTube video directed by Todd Sullivan, titled “OK Go – Say The Same Thing,” the band members act out the premise of the game through quirky scenarios delivered in signature OK Go fashion. OK Go created a new “how-to” video for Say The Same Thing: watch HERE.
On the relaunch of the game, Andy Ross says: “Over the years, we’ve received so many emails asking to make Say the Same Thing available again. It’s a wonderful game of empathy and the winning moment creates such a joyful connection with your playing partner. We heard of people meeting and getting married in the previous release of the app! We really love some of the new ways to play like group games and the daily challenge.”
Damian Kulash says: “I’m thrilled Say the Same Thing is back. Everything in tech right now is about simulating or replacing humans – what we built in Say The Same Thing is the opposite. A tiny nudge to connect with the actual people in your life and share a laugh.”

OK Go have just also released Oh No (Extra Nice Edition) in celebration of the album’s 21st anniversary and its RIAA Gold Certification. Order Oh No (Extra Nice Edition) HERE. Their iconic “Here It Goes Again” treadmill video is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and going 2x Platinum. In support of the release, OK Go will perform a select run of festival and headline dates across the United States and the United Kingdom later this fall. Find tour dates HERE and below.

Naomi Aguilera casts her spell with her new single BB ILY
Two years ago, Naomi Aguilera walked onto my radar with EGO, an infectious soulful pop debut that made it impossible not to move. Fast forward to her debut EP Mosaïques, and it was clear she wasn’t just passing through. Personal, colorful, rooted in her Spanish heritage & Brussels upbringing, it even earned her a spot as Apple Music Benelux’s Up Next artist!
Now she’s back with BB ILY, marking the start of a new era. The bilingual single — French and English — is built around one of the most universal human experiences: that special connection that doesn’t need translation. Where EGO invited you to forget your ex on the dancefloor, BB ILY pulls you somewhere more intimate: with sultry beats courtesy of Turana, it’s a dance where gestures, whispers, sighs and the sound of a voice matters more than the words that come out of it… It’s sensual, a little mystical, and entirely her own.
First taste of Naomi Aguilera’s upcoming project Ojalá, due in 2027, it feels effortlessly catchy. This is the kind of track that casts its spell quietly, with interesting and unexpected rhythmic shifts in the verses, and a delicious chorus that lodges itself in your head before you even notice. By the time you do, it’s too late. But you won’t find me complaining about it!
