It started from a random pipe tapping his colleague did. He pulled his phone out, recorded a voice memo, laughed, and told his workmate that he was going to make a song out of that. He went home and fooled around with it never thinking that it would amount to anything. When Rainer Ild did a listening event for his friends and some music critics where he played approximately 25 songs, ‘Honky’ received the best feedback.
