SEMA Show Brings Drifting, Ride-Alongs and a Burnout Competition to Las Vegas, November 3-6
The 2026 SEMA Show will bring live motorsports action to the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 3-6, with ride-alongs, drifting, off-road demonstrations, vehicle competitions and stunt performances running all week.
“Live motorsports activations are a defining part of the SEMA Show because they allow attendees to experience the industry’s innovation, performance and culture in motion,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA’s vice president of events. “They give attendees another way to discover what is possible across the automotive aftermarket.”
Among the headline experiences: RAYS Wheels will offer ride-alongs with professional drivers in the Silver Lot, putting attendees in the passenger seat to feel the handling and responsiveness of cars on the company’s performance wheels. In the Diamond Lot, the National Motor Fest Smoke Show brings an outdoor burnout competition with horsepower and spectacle up close, and the One Nation Racing Outlaw Series adds grassroots racing action.
The programming continues Friday evening at SEMA Fest, the show’s public finale, giving industry professionals and automotive enthusiasts their own ways to experience vehicle performance, driver skill and enthusiast culture.

South Carolina-Made GT Radial Tires Win Second Straight Formula DRIFT Tire Cup Championship
Tires made in Richburg, South Carolina, have powered GT Radial to its second consecutive Formula DRIFT Tire Cup Championship.
GT Radial clinched the 2026 title with a dominant performance in Las Vegas on September 26, where teammates Conor Shanahan and Matt Field finished first and second. The 1-2 result gave GT Radial an insurmountable 180-point lead with one event remaining in the season.
At the center of the championship is the GT Radial Champiro SX2 RS, the only Formula DRIFT competition tire manufactured in the United States, built at the company’s Richburg facility, which combines manufacturing with research, development and testing.
“What we learn in competition doesn’t stay at the racetrack,” said Mike Meeiem, GT Radial’s motorsports manager. “Formula DRIFT pushes tires to extremes that everyday drivers will never experience, and that gives our engineers valuable information about compounds, construction, grip, durability and heat management. Those lessons help us continue developing better-performing tires for consumers.”
The same Las Vegas weekend also crowned a champion in Formula DRIFT’s developmental PROSPEC series: Dmitriy Brutskiy became the first three-time PROSPEC champion in series history, while 16-year-old rookie Braden Lons won the final round and took third in the championship. The top three PROSPEC finishers earn a license to move up to the PRO championship next year.
