Bella Belen scored a career-high 35 points with a triple-double as Capital1 survived Akari in a PVL five-set classic, 28-26, 22-25, 25-15, 23-25, 21-19.
The former Cignal MVP is trading instant stardom for something bigger: helping build Capital1 into a winner, one five-set test at a time.
Bella Belen's third straight triple-double, a 29-point masterpiece, carried Capital1 past ZUS Coffee in five sets Tuesday in Pasay City.
