UFC 333: Volkanovski vs. Evloev, Yan vs. Dvalishvili 3 Headline Two Title Fights Saturday in Abu Dhabi

Two championship fights headline UFC 333 this Saturday, October 24, as the Octagon returns to Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, with the main card starting at 2 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

In the main event, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (28-4) defends his title against undefeated challenger Movsar Evloev (20-0). Evloev has won all ten of his UFC fights to earn his first shot at gold, though every one of those wins came by decision — a point critics keep raising and the Russian keeps brushing off, insisting control, not finishes, wins championships.

Volkanovski, 38, reclaimed the featherweight crown last year and has promised to do what no one has managed yet: finish Evloev. The Australian says the challenger’s usual plan of controlling opponents over twenty-five minutes will not work against him, and oddsmakers have the fight close to a pick’em.

The co-main event settles one of the bantamweight division’s fiercest rivalries. Champion Petr Yan (20-5) meets former champion Merab Dvalishvili (21-3) for the third time, with the series tied at one win apiece. Yan’s sharp striking will again be tested against Dvalishvili’s record-setting takedown game and relentless pace, with the 135-pound title on the line.

The main card also features a heavyweight bout between Alexander Volkov and Rizvan Kuniev and a flyweight contest between Lone’er Kavanagh and Ramazan Temirov. The preliminary card includes former light heavyweight title challenger Dominick Reyes against the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov.

Weigh-ins for UFC 333 take place Friday, October 23. All bouts are subject to change.

Action from the 2026 ADCC World Championship in Krakow, Poland.

The 2026 ADCC World Championship in Kraków, Poland delivered history, a stack of new champions, and a strong showing for the United States and Europe — with Scotland’s Mark Macqueen reaching the podium in front of a European crowd.

Brazil’s Felipe Pena became the first person in ADCC history to win the absolute bracket twice, beating Roosevelt Sousa in the final. In the championship superfight, Yuri Simoes defeated Kaynan Duarte by submission after Duarte appeared to injure his shoulder in overtime.

American star Helena Crevar continued her takeover of the women’s divisions, submitting Anabel Lopez in the +65kg final to add ADCC gold to her growing collection. Fellow American Paige Ivette Clymer took bronze in the same division, submitting Elizabeth Mitrovic in 1:52 in the bronze-medal match. The USA also picked up silver medals through PJ Barch (-77kg) and Gavin Corbe (-66kg), while Austin-based Luke Griffith won his first ADCC world title at -99kg.

Europe enjoyed its strongest ADCC showing on record. Host nation Poland celebrated its first ADCC champion as Pawel Jaworski won the -88kg title with three straight leg-lock submissions on his way to the final, and Scotland’s Mark Macqueen claimed bronze in the +99kg division behind champion Victor Hugo and silver medalist Josh Saunders.

ADCC disqualified both fighters and banned each for one year, with Olivarez’s father and coach suspended for two years.
