Alexander Laing Expands The World Of “Oceans” With New Video
A music video can give an instrumental release another way to reach an audience. For Alexander Laing’s “Oceans”, the visual connection is direct: the video, directed by Adrian Tanner, was filmed against the backdrop of the ocean that inspired the composition.
Out now via Now Listen, the single is part of The Delta Wave, Laing’s debut album, released in July 2026. He recorded the project the previous year, aged 15, after beginning to compose original music at just 10.
“Oceans” was composed by Laing and produced by Morgan Nicholls. Its starting point was a melody that came to Laing while playing piano one evening. The image it suggested, a distant song carrying across the sea, developed into a piece shaped by the ocean’s contrasting moods.
The accompanying video gives the release a clear visual setting without requiring the music to be explained through words. For audiences discovering the track through video platforms, it also offers a straightforward way into Laing’s work before exploring the wider album.
That album takes its name from delta waves, the brainwaves associated with deep sleep, and explores imagined dream experiences through original compositions. The concept gives the release a common thread, while individual pieces such as “Oceans” draw on their own images and ideas.
Laing is part of a new generation of young composers working in contemporary classical music. His debut project provides an introduction to his interests as both a pianist and a composer, while the video for “Oceans” offers a visual companion to one of the album’s standout tracks.

PRYMRR BREAKS FREE WITH NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO ‘SICK OF IT’
Artist Prymrr returns tomorrow, October 6, 2026, with her powerful new single "Sick Of It," accompanied by an official music video that brings the song's themes of frustration, intensity, and breaking free. "Sick Of It" captures the feeling of reaching a breaking point and finally refusing to hold back. With an emotionally charged sound and Prymrr's unmistakable energy, the track transforms frustration into empowerment an anthem for anyone who has ever reached the point of saying, enough is enough.
The official music video takes a cinematic and immersive approach, utilizing a one-shot filming style inspired by the visual intensity and continuous-shot storytelling of Netflix's Adolescence. The uninterrupted camera movement creates an intimate, immediate experience, drawing viewers directly into Prymrr's world as the story unfolds. Visually, the video establishes a distinctive atmosphere through a black-and-white foundation, subtle muted earthy tones, and carefully placed pops of red. The restrained palette creates a raw, moody aesthetic, while the flashes of red heighten the emotion and intensity of key moments.
The release will also be followed by a special dance concept video, coming soon. The concept video features dancers from the hometown studio where Prymrr danced as a child, creating a meaningful full circle moment that connects her early dance roots with her evolution as an artist. The visual will also incorporate dancers from the studio, adding a personal touch and nod to the place where her journey began.
Choreographed by Dez Penn, the dance concept transforms "Sick Of It" into movement, using choreography to express the song's themes of tension, frustration, strength, and release. Bringing together dancers from Prymrr's hometown studio Penn Point Dance Academy makes the project especially personal, celebrating the foundation that helped shape her as a performer.
Together, the song, official music video, and upcoming dance concept present different sides of the same story: reaching your limit, confronting what has been holding you back, and just finding the strength. "Sick Of It" is about that moment when you stop explaining yourself and realize you've had enough," says Prymrr. "It's taking everything you've been holding in and finally letting it out."
"Sick Of It" and the official music video are out October 6, 2026, on all major streaming platforms and YouTube. The dance concept video is coming soon.
