ALEXIS Balances Vulnerability and Energy on New Single ‘u sure like to make me feel crazy’

Published

on

ALEXIS’ “u sure like to make me feel crazy” is a brilliantly cathartic pop anthem that captures the chaos and confusion of modern relationships. From the first beat, it grabs you with sparkling synths and taut production, creating a sense of urgency that mirrors the song’s emotional tension. It’s music that feels alive, immediate, and deeply human.

The song’s strength lies in its songwriting. With Hogg, Nicholls, and Mclean on board, the lyrics hit with honesty and relatability. ALEXIS’ vocals are expressive and commanding, moving effortlessly between introspective verses and an explosive, anthemic chorus. There’s a sense of shared experience here—an acknowledgment that sometimes love can make us question our own sanity.

“I wrote this song about a previous relationship I had where I was constantly second-guessing myself and I felt like I was losing my mind. It’s a brutally honest reflection on what it means to lose yourself into someone else’s chaos and the clarity that comes when you finally step out of it.”

Production-wise, Hogg’s layered synths, rhythmic percussion, and subtle electronic flourishes give the song a buoyant energy, while Quinn’s mixing ensures every element pops without overwhelming the narrative. “u sure like to make me feel crazy” is not just catchy—it’s emotionally intelligent, a song that lingers long after it ends, cementing ALEXIS’ place as a rising star in pop music.

French collective L’Entourloop are paying tribute to the golden age of sound system culture with their new single “Muffin Kings”. The new single marks the end of L’Entourloop’s 2025 European tour, which included three dates across the UK with a huge finale at the Adidas Arena in Paris.

Known for combo tracks that feature a myriad of guests and have racked up millions of streams, the beatmakers crew achieves a real tour de force by bringing together no fewer than six artists on “Muffin Kings,” all recorded during the same session by Little Lion Sound in Jamaica. The track features raggamuffin pioneers Danny English, Bunny General, and Hollow Point, rub-a-dub singers Echo Minott and Tristan Palmer, as well as the new generation represented by the talented Eesah. L’Entourloop’s signature hip-hop inna yardie style beat and the vocal performances of these prestigious guests make “Muffin Kings” an instant banger.

L’Entourloop dedicate “Muffin Kings” to Danny English, who passed away shortly after the recording, as well as to the victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. The single comes as L’Entourloop prepare to return to the UK in 2026 for an appearance at Boomtown Festival on the Grand Central stage and as they put the finishing touches to their fourth studio album, expected for release in late 2026 / early 2027.
