We Speak Football — Athlete Spotlight

Friday night lights are the biggest stage in high school sports — and the players under them have stories the box score never tells. This page speaks football only: your unit, your film room, your fourth quarters.

📝 Answer the 3 ⭐ questions + any 9 more (12 minimum)✏️ 2–3 sentences each📷 One real action photo👁️ You approve the preview before it goes live

🃏 The Player Card

Your name and YOUR email are the two things we must have — your preview link goes to that email. Parent info is optional.

A real photo of you in action — game, meet, match or training. This becomes your article's featured photo.

Your Season

Q1

The play that said it all

⭐ MUST ANSWER

Every season has one moment where everything you worked for showed up at once. What was yours — the play, the drive, the stop — and what did it prove to you?

Q2

The game you'll tell your kids about

Win or lose, there's one game burned into your memory forever. Which game is it, and walk us through what happened.

Q3

The stat line you earned

Forget modesty for a second. What's the performance you're proudest of — the yards, the tackles, the kicks, the night it all clicked? Give us the numbers AND the story behind them.

What They Don't See

Q4

The hardest moment

⭐ MUST ANSWER

What's the hardest moment of your football life so far — an injury, a loss, getting benched, losing your spot, something off the field — and what did it do to you? What came out of you on the other side of it?

Q5

What nobody sees

Fans see Friday night. They don't see the rest. What does your real week look like — the early alarms, the extra work, the stuff you do when nobody's watching and nobody's clapping?

Q6

The opponent who made you better

Who's the toughest player or team you've lined up against — the one who exposed you or pushed you to your limit? What did facing them teach you about your own game?

Q7

Finish this line

“My coach would describe me as ___ because ___.” Be honest — your coach's real words about you say more than any stat.

The Team & The Dream

Q8

The teammate nobody talks about

Every team has a guy who does the dirty work and never gets his name in the paper. Who's that guy on your team, and why does he deserve his flowers?

Q9

What football means at your house

What does your family sacrifice so you can play this game — the rides, the money, the time, the early mornings? And what does it mean to THEM when they see you under those lights?

Q10

One thing for the college coaches

⭐ MUST ANSWER

College coaches might read this article. If a coach reads only ONE thing about you in this whole piece, what should it be? This is your moment — say it like you mean it.

Q11

The dream school

If you could run out of the tunnel anywhere in America, where is it — and why that program? What is it about that place that has your heart?

Q12

The player you study

Which player — college or pro — do you model your game after? What do you steal from them: their footwork, their vision, their motor, their swagger? Be specific.

Q13

Five years from now

Close your eyes. It's five years from today. Where are you — on the field and in life? Paint the picture.

The Fun Ones

Q14

The ritual and the song

Game day: what's your ritual — the meal, the music, the moment you lock in? And what's the song playing when you walk out? Name the exact track.

Q15

Off the field

Who are you when the pads come off? Hidden talent, hobby, the thing your teammates would roast you for — let people see the whole person, not just the player.

Football Only

Q16

Fourth quarter, season on the line

Your team is down, it's the fourth quarter, and the whole season is riding on this drive — or this stop. Where's your head at? What are you saying in the huddle, and what do you do when the ball is snapped and it's on YOU?

Q17

The film room

Great players are made in the dark, watching film. What do you actually look for when you study tape — of yourself and of the team you're about to face? Tell us one thing film showed you that changed how you play on Friday night.

Q18

Your unit, your pride

Football is played in brotherhoods within the team — the O-line, the DB room, the linebackers, the specialists. What does your position group mean to you? And if you play both ways: what does it take to never come off the field?

Q19

The grind nobody claps for

Winter workouts. Summer heat. The weight room when it's just you and the rack. What does your offseason actually look like — and what's the lift, the drill, or the number you're chasing before next season?

Pass It On

Q20

Put your teammate on

Last one — and this one matters. Who on your team should we highlight next? Give us their name, their position, and WHY they deserve their own article. The best highlight programs are built by players putting their brothers on.

🌙 Offseason Mode

Seasons end. Stories don't. Answer these three and we can run your Spotlight as an Offseason Check-In — the work nobody sees, all year long. (Optional.)

OFF 1

A week in your offseason

No Friday nights right now — so what does the work look like? The lifts, the 7v7, the camps, the training. Walk us through a normal offseason week for you.

OFF 2

The thing you're rebuilding

Film doesn't lie. What's the one part of your game you're taking apart and rebuilding this offseason — and exactly how are you doing it?

OFF 3

Who you're coming back as

Starter? Captain? Two-way player? What are you coming back as next fall that you weren't this year — and what's the goal you're chasing all winter and spring to get there?
