AWOL Da Mindwriter returns with “Now Loading” video / single with August Fanon
Great Neck, NY’s AWOL Da Mindwriter has dropped the title track from his forthcoming collaborative LP with August Fanon (Mach Hommy, Vic Spencer). “Now Loading” (7eMeraldsMedia) is an especially aggressive lyrical throw down boasting additional firepower from Zarz The Origin.
Speaking on the link-up with Zarz, AWOL said, “He’s one of the illest artists I have ever worked with. We crossed paths a few times but really connected when we both appeared on Mr. Muthafuckin’ Exquire‘s “Y.O.U. Day” series of performances in 2024.”

Other tracks from the project include “Altered Beast,” “Disconnected” and “Golden Gun” (links below). Bringing his two passions together, retro gaming and authentic boom-bap, August Fanon is the perfect foil for his lyrical mindset.
