Between Time and Feeling: Horologica’s “I Want It More Than Anyone” EP Out Now
There is something quietly captivating about an artist who lives between two worlds. For Horologica, the London-based singer-songwriter, that duality is not just a concept. It sits at the core of his creative identity. By day, he works with time in its most exacting form as a professional horologist. By night, he lets go of precision entirely, channeling emotion into music that feels instinctive, open, and deeply human.
His new EP, I Want It More Than Anyone, reflects that balance. It is a collection grounded in love, self-expression, and emotional clarity. These are songs that do not try too hard to impress. Instead, they invite you in with warmth and sincerity. Nothing feels forced. Everything unfolds naturally, like thoughts you did not realize you needed to hear.
At the center of the project sits “Feather,” the EP’s standout moment. Light, melodic, and carried by rich vocal harmonies, the track feels like a deep breath. What makes it even more striking is how effortlessly it came to life. Written in just 45 minutes during a spontaneous burst at the piano, “Feather” captures the kind of inspiration artists spend years chasing. That initial spark was later elevated through collaboration with a Grammy-winning production team, transforming it into a layered and uplifting piece that glows with subtle complexity.
But I Want It More Than Anyone is not just about standout moments. It is about cohesion. The title itself emerged only after the songs were finished, almost as if the music revealed its own meaning. Across the EP, Horologica explores connection, identity, and the quiet beauty found in vulnerability. His songwriting feels conversational, like late-night honesty shared without hesitation. There is optimism here, but it stays grounded. It never feels naive and always feels genuine.
What makes this release particularly compelling is the contrast that shapes it. His daily work is defined by structure and measurement, while his music thrives on feeling and fluidity. It is within that tension that Horologica finds his voice. His songs do not measure time. They capture what happens inside it, including fleeting emotions, passing connections, and moments that matter because they do not last.
“This music is a piece of my soul,” he shares, and it shows. There is a therapeutic undercurrent running through the EP, a sense of release that feels both personal and shared. These songs were not just written to be heard. They were written to be felt, first by him and now by anyone willing to listen.

Dysmusia Keeps “In your eyes” Honest, Warm And Straight To The Point
It is easy to see why a songwriter might be drawn to a story like this. Relationships rarely finish as neatly as people would like, and the space between “it is over” and “maybe we should try again” can produce plenty of material. For Dysmusia, that space becomes the setting for latest single “In your eyes”, out now through Now Listen.
The Irish singer-songwriter has a knack for keeping his writing close to everyday life, and this track benefits from that approach. He looks at an old relationship that has already gone through several attempts at making things work, then focuses on what happens when those feelings start creeping back in.
What makes the song appealing is the balance between sincerity and a lighter touch. Dysmusia is clearly invested in the situation, but he does not turn every moment into a grand declaration. There is room for a bit of humour and hesitation along the way, which keeps the song feeling natural.
The arrangement gives the song a pleasing lift. Acoustic guitar sits at the heart of it, with the dropped tuning adding some richness and a second guitar bringing extra colour. The result has folk at its core but carries enough indie-rock influence to give it a little extra punch.
Dysmusia’s Irish background is another part of the picture. Based between Antrim and Dublin and coming from a musical family, he has developed a style that puts storytelling alongside contemporary guitar sounds.
“In your eyes” brings those influences together without making a fuss about them. It is a personable, melodic track about feelings that refuse to follow a neat timetable, delivered with enough warmth to make the story easy to get behind.
