Blades Brown Becomes Youngest Golfer Ever to Earn PGA Tour Status Through the Korn Ferry Tour
Blades Brown keeps making history before he can legally buy a drink.
The teenager finished alone in second at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at The Federal Club in Virginia, closing with a 2-under 69 to climb to ninth in the season-long points standings — and with that, he became the youngest golfer ever to earn PGA Tour status through the Korn Ferry Tour.
Brown began the finale already inside the top 20 who earn 2027 PGA Tour cards, so his week was about positioning rather than survival. He delivered anyway, finishing runner-up to Austin Hitt in the season finale of the PGA Tour’s developmental circuit.
He is part of a 20-man graduating class headlined by Hitt and points champion Ross Steelman. The Korn Ferry Tour has long been the proving ground where future major winners earn their stripes, and Brown now carries that ‘youngest ever’ label into his rookie season on the big tour in 2027.

Last-Minute Entry Enrique Dimayuga Wins APGA Billy Horschel Invitational for First Pro Victory
Enrique Dimayuga was not even supposed to be in the field. By Wednesday, he was holding the trophy.
The 25-year-old APGA Tour rookie got into the exclusive 21-player Billy Horschel Invitational at Evermore Orlando Resort’s Grand Cypress Course when veteran Joey Stills withdrew to compete in PGA Tour Q-School. “I was over the moon,” Dimayuga said of the invite. He made the most of it, shooting 68-67 for a 9-under 135 to win by three shots and take the $30,000 top prize from the $100,000 purse — his first professional victory.
Dimayuga’s path to the winner’s circle is a story in itself. Of Filipino heritage and raised in London, he played college golf at four programs — Florida Atlantic, Arkansas, Nevada and SMU — and became the first golfer in Nevada history to win back-to-back events. His graduate season came at SMU, where he finished second in his Mustangs debut.
The APGA Tour, which advances minority golfers and underserved players toward the highest levels of the game, closes its Farmers Fall Series with the finale on November 11-13.
