I’m a libero. I love being able to control the pace of the game and serve as the defensive leader for the team.

How do you balance academics, volleyball, and personal time during the season?

What’s your favorite memory from your volleyball experience?
Definitely seeing a video of one of my saves go viral on Instagram. It’s hit 8 million views and nearly 1 million likes!

What’s a typical training day like for you during the season?
After school, I’m at the gym by 3:00 for pre-practice, which starts at 3:15. Full team practice runs from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. Then it’s dinner, homework, and rest. We do that three times a week.

I’m aiming for a 2.5+ passing rating and a target of at least 4 digs per set.

What’s a piece of advice you’ve received from a coach that stuck with you?
“Everyone wants a gold medal picture, but very few people want to do gold medal work.”

What motivates you to keep pushing through tough practices or losses?
I’m insanely competitive. That drive doesn’t let me quit.

Where do you see yourself in volleyball over the next 3–5 years?
Playing at a Power 4 D1 program and helping my team chase down a national championship.

How do you handle pressure during close matches or high-stakes points?
I handle pressure by liking it. I thrive in those moments.

Who’s the funniest teammate on the squad, and why?
Amaya. She always puts a smile on my face, and I’m so glad she got moved to our team midseason.
