Charcom Finds Strength in Vulnerability on “TOO LATE TO LOVE YOU”

Published

on

Charcom is not here to play it safe. With his new single “TOO LATE TO LOVE YOU”, the NYC-based artist puts his heart on the table and doesn’t look away. It’s the kind of track that doesn’t just speak to you, it sits next to you when you’re deep in your feelings and quietly says, “Yeah, I’ve been there too.”

From the first few seconds, “TOO LATE TO LOVE YOU” sets a mood that is reflective and atmospheric. Built around a looping synth line and washed-out delay effects, the production is hypnotic but never cold. There’s warmth in the piano, tension in the silence between phrases, and a sense of real emotional gravity in how the track evolves. It’s not just electronic music for the sake of a vibe. Charcom is telling a story, and every sound is part of it.

The lyrics are simple but loaded. Lines like “Is it too late to come through, tell you I am the one” and “Lies just leave me lonelier with time” feel like journal entries written in the aftermath of something unresolved. What stands out most is how honest it all feels. There’s no posturing, no cryptic metaphors, just someone trying to process the pain of regret and missed connection. Charcom’s vocal delivery is delicate but assured, almost as if he’s speaking directly to the person he lost.

What makes this track land is how it refuses to choose between intimacy and impact. Yes, it’s emotional, but it also has a pulse. The drop doesn’t try to hit you over the head. Instead, it gives you space to feel. It’s the kind of moment that invites both movement and stillness. You could easily hear this in a club at 1 am, but it would hit just as hard through headphones on a rainy commute.

Charcom, a graduate of NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, clearly has a sharp understanding of both songwriting and production. But what makes him compelling is how he fuses craft with real emotional depth. This song isn’t trying to be everything for everyone. It’s specific and vulnerable, and that’s what makes it so effective. He’s not just making music that sounds good. He’s making music that feels necessary.

If “TOO LATE TO LOVE YOU” is any indication of what’s coming on his upcoming EP, Charcom is stepping into a space that very few artists occupy comfortably: deeply emotional electronic music that is as thoughtful as it is listenable. This isn’t background noise. It’s the kind of track that makes you stop what you’re doing and just feel.

In a genre where it’s easy to hide behind production, Charcom is doing the opposite. He’s showing up, flaws and all, and inviting you to do the same.

Prymrr

Artist Prymrr returns tomorrow, October 6, 2026, with her powerful new single "Sick Of It," accompanied by an official music video that brings the song's themes of frustration, intensity, and breaking free. "Sick Of It" captures the feeling of reaching a breaking point and finally refusing to hold back. With an emotionally charged sound and Prymrr's unmistakable energy, the track transforms frustration into empowerment an anthem for anyone who has ever reached the point of saying, enough is enough.

The official music video takes a cinematic and immersive approach, utilizing a one-shot filming style inspired by the visual intensity and continuous-shot storytelling of Netflix's Adolescence. The uninterrupted camera movement creates an intimate, immediate experience, drawing viewers directly into Prymrr's world as the story unfolds. Visually, the video establishes a distinctive atmosphere through a black-and-white foundation, subtle muted earthy tones, and carefully placed pops of red. The restrained palette creates a raw, moody aesthetic, while the flashes of red heighten the emotion and intensity of key moments.

The release will also be followed by a special dance concept video, coming soon. The concept video features dancers from the hometown studio where Prymrr danced as a child, creating a meaningful full circle moment that connects her early dance roots with her evolution as an artist. The visual will also incorporate dancers from the studio, adding a personal touch and nod to the place where her journey began.

Choreographed by Dez Penn, the dance concept transforms "Sick Of It" into movement, using choreography to express the song's themes of tension, frustration, strength, and release. Bringing together dancers from Prymrr's hometown studio Penn Point Dance Academy makes the project especially personal, celebrating the foundation that helped shape her as a performer.

Together, the song, official music video, and upcoming dance concept present different sides of the same story: reaching your limit, confronting what has been holding you back, and just finding the strength. "Sick Of It" is about that moment when you stop explaining yourself and realize you've had enough," says Prymrr. "It's taking everything you've been holding in and finally letting it out."

"Sick Of It" and the official music video are out October 6, 2026, on all major streaming platforms and YouTube. The dance concept video is coming soon.
