Crotona P + Silent Someone drop Serenity album

Soulful and somber throughout, but always with a crisp backbeat and percussive accents Serenity is eleven tracks of motivational music for the grown heads. The album is peppered with a slew of equally ill guest emcees including Money Mogly, Doza The Drum Dealer, Lex Nyre, Brogawd, M Doc Diego, Mr Ripley, Mike Titan, Slik Jack & G Fam Black.

Young Zee and Psych Major return with new single “Mine” this morning. While the track is head-nod maximum boom-bap the single cover and video is meant to raise the hackles on your neck. Featuring puppetry by BroadcastKing the emcee’s avatars and possessed landscape reside somewhere between The Blair Witch’s territory and Amityville.
