Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, a respected Ghanaian televangelist and founder of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, has called on the youth to promote peace as the December 7th elections approach.

He made this appeal during a Peace Walk organized by Gospel musician and Pastor Sonnie Badu on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The walk, which started at Danquah Circle and ended at Independence Square in Accra, was part of activities leading up to the “Agromonti Rhythms of Africa – Peace Edition” concert.

Dr. Tetteh, known for his work promoting love, peace, and unity, highlighted Ghana’s unique bond of peaceful coexistence among people of different religions. He urged citizens to preserve this unity, saying, “Let us not break this bond of unity.”

He praised Sonnie Badu for using his music and messages to promote peace and encouraged the youth to follow his example. Dr. Tetteh reminded young people to act responsibly and avoid actions that could disrupt the peace during the elections.

The event ended with a heartfelt prayer from Dr. Tetteh, asking for peaceful elections with transparent results that all Ghanaians can trust and celebrate.

The Peace Walk is part of preparations for the “Agromonti Rhythms of Africa – Peace Edition” concert, scheduled for Friday, November 29, 2024, at Independence Square. The event is free and open to the public.
