Sone unveils her polished new single ‘Happy’. Showcasing artistic maturity, the song showcases her unwavering dedication to her craft, while emerging herself into extraordinary new artistic heights.

Inspired by alternative indie soundscapes and introspective ponderings, Sone establishes a unique presence where she blends genres. With poignant lyrics and an innovative atmosphere, she continues to captivate listeners.

These days, she is focusing her artistic energies on pieces that are even more personal, honest, and compassionate. Though composing ‘Happy’ made her feel uncomfortable, the act of creating brought her one step closer to experiencing actual bliss. Sone’s comprehension of her challenges underwent a significant shift once she created the enchanting offering.

The song discusses how she tried to redefine what it meant to be truly happy after ending a major relationship, which marked a key turning point in her life. Even though this was the first time she was expressing her mind and taking charge of her own happiness, she understood that the only way she could be happy would be to let her guard down and stop having so many expectations of herself.

Sone’s raw voice is hauntingly displayed in the song, giving it an irresistible and distinctive appeal. The alternative indie record embraces the melancholy on the journey towards happiness, engrossing listeners in a world of engaging soundscapes. The yearning for happiness is reflected in the song’s self-reflective lyrics and melancholic rhythm.

When asked about the inspiration behind this new single, Sone has the following to say;

“‘Happy’ is about not standing in your own way – and letting yourself let go and be… happy”.
