ESSENCE + FORD Presents: My City, 4 Ways ATLANTA 2017
It’s the food, the Southern hospitality, the shopping, the awesome nightlife. Yes, Atlanta is the place to be to get a gourmet meal, get the best outfit, and have an awesome cocktail before a hot ticket concert kicks off! Few cities in the South get it crackin’ like Atlanta, Georgia, and for those who need a little pick me up, but have yet to make their way to this exceptional city, ESSENCE magazine, in collaboration with FORD was back again this year to school you on what the good life in the ATL is all about. This past weekend the MY CITY, 4 WAYS shared the food, music, art and style of Atlanta in grand fashion.
You can best believe we’ll get the best fashion advice from fashionista and creative director June Ambrose, and fashion designer Charlene Dunbar who showcased and sell their fashion. Visual artist Melissa Mitchell was on hand to make things pop visually by exhibiting her artwork while DJ Teknology’s curated sounds that set the scene for an exceptionally dope time.

High Water Festival Announces 2027 Lineup Featuring Headliners Jack Johnson and Mt. Joy Alongside Death Cab for Cutie, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, The Revivalists, The Head and the Heart & More!
The celebration of music, food, and libations returns for its ninth year to North Charleston’s Riverfront Park on April 17-18, 2027, with headliners Jack Johnson and Mt. Joy.
South Carolina’s High Water Festival will return to North Charleston’s picturesque Riverfront Park nestled along the banks of the scenic Cooper River on April 17-18, 2027. See 20 acts across two stages with no overlapping sets!
Artists set to perform at High Water 2027 include headliners multi-platinum musician Jack Johnson and Mt. Joy alongside Death Cab for Cutie, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, The Revivalists, The Head and the Heart, Ole 60, Congress the Band, Mat Kearney, Finn Wolfhard, GoldFord, West 22nd, Mo Lowda & The Humble, Alyssa Grace, Hazlett, Marlon Funaki, Penelope Road, Ax and the Hatchetmen, Angela Autumn, and Susannah Joffe.
High Water returns in 2027 following another banner year for the festival, which earned a 2026 Pollstar Award nomination for Music Festival of the Year (Global; Under 30K Attendance). The peer-voted industry recognition underscored High Water’s reputation for pairing thoughtfully curated lineups with an intimate waterfront setting and a distinctly Southern celebration of music, food and community.

A celebration of music, food, and libations — High Water is a haven for foodies, showcasing the tastiest flavors around.
