FALCONS SIGN GUARD JAMIL DOUGLAS TO ACTIVE ROSTER, WAIVE CORNERBACK DEJI OLATOYE
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons signed guard Jamil Douglas
to the active roster. In order to make room for Douglas, the team waived cornerback Deji Olatoye. With Alex Mack questionable to play on Sunday and guard Andy Levitre and Wes Schweitzer limited in practice all week with a triceps injury, the Falcons added depth at this position.
Douglas has spent the entire season on the practice squad with the Falcons. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Dolphins, Douglas started six games in his time in Miami before being placed on the practice squad.
