Fitasha’s Fierce New Era With ‘RUSH’

Published

on

Fitasha’s third album, RUSH, is nothing short of a sonic revolution. With 15 tracks that blend the realms of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, this record is the culmination of her evolution as both an artist and an individual. From the opening note of the fiercely energetic “FAMOUS,” it is clear that Fitasha is no longer the emerging star she once was—she’s fully arrived, unapologetic and commanding. The track’s propulsive percussion and swaggering rhythms match the unrelenting confidence in Fitasha’s voice, as she delivers a declaration of independence and strength that reverberates throughout the entire album.

“FAMOUS” acts as a perfect introduction to, RUSH, serving as both a statement and a warning. Fitasha’s assertion that “villains are made, not born” speaks to her journey of self-empowerment, where she’s learned to assert her boundaries and control her narrative. The track is a fiery anthem for anyone who’s ever been told what they should be or how they should sound. For Fitasha, this song is the mark of her personal and artistic transformation, as she embraces her identity on her terms. “I’m my own boss,” she says, and you can feel that defiance in every note.

Throughout the album, Fitasha delves deeper into the theme of self-empowerment, tackling everything from love to self-love, survival, and resilience. She skillfully navigates both English and Spanish lyrics, ensuring her cultural background is reflected in every aspect of her music. The versatility of her sound—from the smoothness of jazz influences to the thumping bass of hip-hop—is stunning. Tracks like “Cicatrices” bring in that neo-soul depth, while “Turbulence” takes on a more experimental, electronic edge, blending elements of drum and bass with her signature soulful delivery.

What stands out most about, RUSH, is Fitasha’s complete command of the production process. She wrote, recorded, and produced each track, ensuring that the final product is a reflection of her own vision and artistry. From the subtle intricacies of the arrangements to the boldness of her vocal delivery, it’s clear that every note and every beat was crafted with intent. RUSH, doesn’t just reflect her sound, it reflects her soul.

As Fitasha prepares for her 2025 tour, RUSH, stands as the perfect introduction to her live performances. With dates in cities across Europe and England, fans will be able to experience the raw energy and passion that she so expertly channels through her music. With, RUSH, Fitasha is setting the stage for the next chapter in her career—and it’s one that’s bound to be unforgettable.
