From Queens to Florida: The Rise of Mike Alexander

In the world of music, where passion and perseverance are key, Mike Alexander is making a name for himself as a talented rapper and entrepreneur. Born in Long Island, New York, and raised in Queens, Mike’s story is one of resilience and determination.
The Roots of Creativity
Growing up in the vibrant neighborhoods of Queens, Mike was exposed to a diverse range of musical influences. From the legendary rap icons of the 90s like Biggie and Tupac to the soulful sounds of R&B, Mike’s musical journey began with a passion for creativity. “I started with listening to rap music when Biggie, Tupac, Nas, and AZ were making music,” he says.
Staying True to Himself
So, what sets Mike apart from other artists in the industry? According to him, it’s his ability to stay true to himself and not worry about what others think. “I think me not thinking about what makes me different and just doing me,” he explains. This authenticity shines through in his music and personality.
A Vision for Success
In the next five years, Mike sees himself achieving great things. He’s working on building his online clothing store, WeCrew Apparel, and plans to open a main store. He’s also passionate about giving back to his community, with plans to start a non-profit organization that provides essential items to those in need. “I see myself having a main store for my online clothing store… and making a non-profit giving away bookbags, school supplies to the kids, and Turkeys on Thanksgiving to the homeless,” he declares.

The Power of Motivation
So, what motivates Mike to pursue his dreams? It’s the love and support of his family, particularly his kids, girlfriend, parents, and brother. “Me, my kids, my girl, my parents, my brother,” he says. These relationships drive him to succeed and make a positive impact.
A Unique Approach
Mike’s approach to music and life is refreshingly laid-back and balanced. As an introvert-extrovert, he finds inspiration in his daily life and channels it into his music. “I be in the crib a lot with my son, then I go across town to my studio apt and try to find inspiration to write,” he explains. This unique blend of creativity and hard work sets him apart from other artists.
