Jamal Gasol drops “Return Of The Threat” (Video)

Piff Music Empire boss Jamal Gasol is still a threat!  New visual/single (filmed by @Ryank as part of his Case Files video series) “Return Of The Threat Freestyle” has the Niagara Falls, NY emcee in the interrogation room rocking over an instrumental (originally appearing on Alchemist x Larry June’s project).

Known for his deep and personal lyrical gems Gasol said “the video concept and the track seemed to go hand-in-hand.  Ryank been doing the Case Files series for a while and I felt like the song was a confession of my experience in the game of life overall, which in my case includes the drug game and the music game, it’s still a dirty game.”

vincethealien Turns Vulnerability Into Art With “TENDERNESS”

Published

on

What does it mean to ask for tenderness when you’re not sure someone can give it back? vincethealien explores that question with “TENDERNESS” , a captivating alternative pop track created alongside French producer MOTTRON that turns vulnerability, longing, and emotional complexity into sound.

Blending alternative pop, indietronica, and art-pop influences, the track moves between soft melodies, distorted textures, and restless rhythms. It doesn’t try to neatly resolve emotion; instead, it sits inside the messy, beautiful space where connection, uncertainty, and self-discovery collide.

Known for blending R&B, rock, trip-hop, industrial sounds, and electronic experimentation, vincethealien has always created music that embraces contrast. With “TENDERNESS”, that contrast becomes more personal, less about hiding behind sound and more about letting people in.

Originally written during sessions for his previous project, the song found its final form when MOTTRON joined the process. Together, they transformed the original demo into a textured, atmospheric track while preserving the emotional tension at its core.

Inspired by the idea that tenderness can exist alongside anger, grief, and strength, the song explores what it means to seek love, intimacy, and understanding while accepting that vulnerability can sometimes feel like a risk.

“TENDERNESS” proves that softness isn’t weakness, sometimes it’s the bravest thing we can offer.
