Ghanaian Gospel artiste Joe Mettle faced a moment of surprise and concern when he was awarded a sword for being the Artiste of the Year at the Praise Achievement Awards Night in Accra on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Joe, known for his caring nature, worried about where to keep the sharp-pointed sword at home, especially with his two-year-old daughter, Ariana Mettle, around. Expressing a laugh-cry expression, he shared his dilemma, saying, “I’m wondering where to put this since I have my two years old… She will go and take it.”

Despite the worry, Joe Mettle graciously thanked the Praise Achievement Awards Team for the honor, emphasizing that he does not take it for granted. In addition to the Artiste of the Year award, he also received The Worship Artiste of the Year Award, the Male Artiste of the year and the Song of the Year Award for “Kadosh.”

The venue is at East Legon, Assemblies of God, Cedar Mountain Chapel International, 6pm sharp.
