Grammy Nominated R&B/Pop Singer Keri Hilson and Rasheeda of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop of Atlanta Join PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest
September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Month and in efforts to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle, founder of PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT, Aeshia DeVore Branch introduced her inaugural PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest in Atlanta, GA this month. Female college students and young professionals from the Atlanta community enjoyed a fun day filled with team workouts lead by premier instructors, contests to win prizes, live performances from female DJs (DJ GorJess and DJ Milhouse), surprise guests and more. The event also honored Atlanta natives Rashan Ali (TV One’s Sister Circle), Keri Hilson (Grammy-nominated R&B/Pop Artist), and Rasheeda (Star of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Entrepreneur). Popular fitness instructors lead fitness sessions at the inaugural PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest that include Alana Sanders, Chelcie Scott, Double Dutch Aerobics, Deniece Griffin, Lauren Powers, Dr. Crystal Jones and Lauren Smith.
The ultimate way to give back, the PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT fest encourages young women to live a healthy lifestyle, embrace fitness, and raise money and awareness for childhood obesity. The event exposed guests to premiere fitness studios in Atlanta as well as an online destination where they can learn how to make fitness fun and sweat with a purpose. It also highlights the many fitness programs PRETTY GIRLS SWEAT offers on and off college campuses, locally and nationally.
