Acclaimed Mariachi singer Aaron Nicholas has joined forces with powerhouse vocalist, guitarist, and Latin GRAMMY nominee Stephanie Amaro to release a breathtaking, Spanish-language Mariachi fusion version of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's iconic hit, "Islands in the Stream." Blending traditional Mexican heritage with American country-folk sensibilities, the single hits all digital streaming platforms on October 23, 2026, serving as a cultural bridge for the vibrant Chicano population of Los Angeles and beyond.

The stunning Spanish-language single paves the way for Aaron Nicholas's highly anticipated sophomore album, culminating in a star-studded release concert at the GRAMMY Museum's Clive Davis Theater on March 27, 2027.

The track offers a glittering preview of Aaron Nicholas's upcoming sophomore album, scheduled for global release in March 2027. Following the success of his debut album, La Memoria De Amor (produced by maestro Jose Hernandez of Mariachi Sol de México), Nicholas's latest project pushes creative boundaries. This new musical chapter is co-produced by an elite team including Latin GRAMMY nominee Andy Abad, Cindy Shea (founder of the multi-GRAMMY-winning Mariachi Divas), and Aaron Nicholas himself.

The highly anticipated project features a star-studded lineup, including a duet with the Mariachi Divas, and showcases the musical brilliance of the late, legendary guitarist Ramon Stagnaro, acclaimed producer and keyboardist Cheche Alara, and Pepe Carlos of the GRAMMY-winning group La Santa Cecilia.

To celebrate the launch, Aaron Nicholas will host an exclusive album release event at the prestigious Clive Davis Theater at the GRAMMY Museum in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, March 27, 2027, at 7:00 PM. Hosted by Emmy Award-winning entertainment journalist Denny Directo, the unforgettable evening will feature a dynamic lineup of special guests, including a featured performance by Stephanie Amaro. Tickets are available now to the public on Eventbrite.com.

Breaking Boundaries on Stage and in the Community

As a proudly out member of the LGBTQ+ community, Aaron Nicholas uses his platform to challenge stereotypes within regional Mexican music. A passionate activist, Nicholas actively supports vital organizations including Border Angels, the Dolores Huerta Foundation, GLLU (Gay and Lesbian Latinos Unidos), The Trevor Project, the Matthew Shepard Foundation, and the Lupe Ontiveros Scholarship.

Nicholas's talent has already earned him major milestones, including opening the prestigious Latin Billboard Award Conference in Miami and selling out the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles multiple times.
