Marlon Wayans Hits the Club Circuit: San Jose This Weekend, Then Portland and New York
Marlon Wayans is doing it the old-school way this fall – one club, one room, all weekend. Wayans plays the San Jose Improv this weekend with multiple shows across October 23, 24 and 25, then heads up the coast to Portland’s Helium Comedy Club on October 29. East Coast fans get their turn on November 21 at Levity Live in West Nyack, New York.
The youngest Wayans brother has quietly become one of the sharpest stand-ups in the family – the Scary Movie and White Chicks star treats club weekends like a craft, testing honest, personal material in front of a few hundred people a night instead of hiding in arenas.
Club dates from a name this big do not stay available long. San Jose, you are up first.

Nate Bargatze Plays Rexburg Tomorrow, Then Settles Into Las Vegas on the Record-Breaking Big Dumb Eyes Tour
The nicest man in stand-up is having the biggest year in stand-up. Nate Bargatze’s Big Dumb Eyes World Tour – named after his New York Times bestselling book – plays the BYU-Idaho Center in Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, October 23, then settles into a Las Vegas residency run at Encore at Wynn on December 9-12, with more Vegas dates January 21-24.
The tour just played Auburn University’s Neville Arena on October 16 as part of its college swing. The numbers behind the run are staggering: more than 2 million tickets sold, and Bargatze recently set the record for the highest one-year gross by a comedy performer in history.
The Atlantic called him "The Nicest Man in Stand-Up," and his clean, deadpan, everybody’s-dad humor has turned arena crowds into believers. If Rexburg or Vegas is anywhere near you, this is the show to see this season.
