Ralph Barbosa’s Laid-Back Takeover: Tulsa, Tacoma, Palm Beach and a Chicago Theater Run
Ralph Barbosa might be the coolest quiet storm in comedy. The Dallas comic’s deadpan, laid-back delivery is selling out rooms across the country this fall: Bricktown Comedy Club in Tulsa on October 24, Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma across October 29-31, and the Palm Beach Improv on November 6-7.
The centerpiece is a theater run at Chicago’s Den Theatre, November 13-18, followed by Thunder Valley Casino in California on December 4 and Brooklyn’s Bell House on December 14.
Barbosa’s second hour special, Planet Bosa, premiered on Hulu in August, after his Netflix debut Cowabunga ranked as the #3 TV show on Netflix in its first week. A Variety 10 Comics to Watch pick who calls himself one of the shyest attention hogs in comedy, Barbosa is proof you do not have to be the loudest person in the room to own it.

Nate Bargatze Plays Rexburg Tomorrow, Then Settles Into Las Vegas on the Record-Breaking Big Dumb Eyes Tour
The nicest man in stand-up is having the biggest year in stand-up. Nate Bargatze’s Big Dumb Eyes World Tour – named after his New York Times bestselling book – plays the BYU-Idaho Center in Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, October 23, then settles into a Las Vegas residency run at Encore at Wynn on December 9-12, with more Vegas dates January 21-24.
The tour just played Auburn University’s Neville Arena on October 16 as part of its college swing. The numbers behind the run are staggering: more than 2 million tickets sold, and Bargatze recently set the record for the highest one-year gross by a comedy performer in history.
The Atlantic called him "The Nicest Man in Stand-Up," and his clean, deadpan, everybody’s-dad humor has turned arena crowds into believers. If Rexburg or Vegas is anywhere near you, this is the show to see this season.
