Multifaceted Artist Ryan John Clary Announces Release of Debut Album, ‘LIFE, LOVE & YOU’
After more than a decade marked by both personal challenges and creative evolution, artist and recovery advocate Ryan John Clary proudly announces the release of his debut album, LIFE, LOVE & YOU. This album is a reflection of Clary’s journey through adversity, capturing his musical odyssey, his struggles with self-doubt, and his ultimate rekindling of a profound love for songwriting.
Clary’s story is one of resilience and reinvention. An active musician with professional ambitions since 2011, Clary faced a career-altering shift in 2020 when his band dissolved amid the global pandemic. Feeling creatively depleted, he wrestled with doubts about his musical abilities. “I lost all confidence in my music,” Clary shared. “I feared my voice wasn’t good enough.” Turning away from performing, Clary took on session drumming work from 2020 to 2024, continuing to write music privately but shelving his dreams of a professional comeback.
Yet, even in this hiatus, Clary’s passion for music remained. In August 2023, he experienced a renewed surge of inspiration, purchasing an acoustic guitar—a symbolic gesture that marked his reentry into music. “I made a promise to myself to record, release, and perform my music again,” Clary reflects. LIFE, LOVE & YOU stands as the fulfillment of that promise. Drawing from his recovery from substance abuse and mental health struggles, the album channels years of introspection and personal growth.
Having faced and overcome many obstacles, Clary’s songs, recorded in his home studio, speak to themes of self-expression, resilience, and healing. “I hope my music can resonate with people going through similar challenges,” Clary notes, “offering them validation and a sense of connection.”
Since early 2024, Clary has been releasing singles monthly, many of which feature on the album, LIFE, LOVE & YOU. His commitment to a steady release schedule has not only built excitement for the full album but has also signaled his reemergence as an authentic voice in the music world, unfiltered and deeply relatable.
Beyond music, Clary’s experience in the recovery field has profoundly shaped the emotional depth of his songs, positioning his album as more than just a collection of tracks. Instead, LIFE, LOVE & YOU, serves as both a testament to personal resilience and a beacon of hope for others striving for renewal and self-expression.

Megan Burke Turns Personal Experience into Pop Catharsis on ‘Not All Men, Apparently’
Megan Burke’s debut EP Not All Men, Apparently arrives with a title designed to provoke conversation, but beneath its pointed framing lies a deeply personal collection of songs rooted in lived experience. The project sees the Irish artist tackling themes of heartbreak, deception and emotional recovery with an unfiltered honesty that has become increasingly rare within contemporary pop.
Produced by Hungarian hitmaker Áron Somody, the EP documents Burke’s journey through a series of difficult relationships, transforming private frustrations into universally relatable songwriting. Rather than presenting neat resolutions, the songs lean into complexity, examining the lingering impact of toxic dynamics while charting a gradual path towards self-awareness. It is this willingness to confront uncomfortable truths that gives the record its emotional weight.
Among the collection’s standout moments is Make Me, the focus track that introduces a welcome sense of levity. Written as a break from the darker material surrounding it, the song captures a more playful side of Burke’s personality, embracing independence and spontaneity without abandoning the candid perspective that defines the wider project. Its inclusion adds balance to a release that might otherwise feel relentlessly introspective.
Burke’s rise has been built largely on her ability to connect directly with audiences, amassing a substantial online following while earning notable milestones including a No.1 iTunes chart position and performances at some of Ireland’s biggest venues. With Not All Men, Apparently, she delivers her most cohesive artistic statement yet, confirming her status as a compelling new voice in Irish pop and a songwriter unafraid to tell difficult stories.
