Host Bodies’ track ‘On A Roll’ Gets a Psychedelic Reinvention from Soul Glitch
Ten years after Host Bodies first released the album Daily Apparatus, “On A Roll” has found a completely new groove.
For the Daily Apparatus: 10 Year Remixes project, multi-instrumentalist and producer Nicholas Hasty, under his Soul Glitch moniker, takes the original electronic-rock track and pulls it into deeper, more psychedelic territory.
The remix keeps the energy of Host Bodies intact while opening up the track with new beats, electronic textures and expressive saxophone solos. Electric guitar, bass and layered production give it a rich, genre-blurring sound that sits somewhere between indie electronic, jazztronica, soultronica and alternative dance.
There’s something particularly satisfying about hearing a decade-old track treated not as a relic, but as raw material. Soul Glitch reshapes “On A Roll” , finding new spaces within the original and bringing his own musical language into the mix.
The result is energetic, sensual, psychedelic and unapologetically expansive.
Ten years on, “On A Roll” proves that sometimes the best way to celebrate where a song came from is to find somewhere completely new for it to go.

Epic Sensation Turns Self-Belief Into Sound
London-based DJ, producer and rap artist Epic Sensation is making confidence contagious with his single, “I’m Great”. Energetic, unapologetic and built for movement, the track turns a simple statement into a mindset: believe in yourself, keep going, and own your journey.
What makes the release particularly interesting is the story behind it. The instrumental was originally created back in 2022, during a period when Epic Sensation was experimenting with high-energy hip-hop production. Instead of forcing the track into existence, he let it sit, waiting until the right moment and collaboration came along.
That moment eventually arrived through an unexpected connection. While studying MA Advanced Music Technology at the University of West London, Epic Sensation continued developing his production and recording skills while performing and building his artistic profile. A live performance video caught the attention of artist Rithvik, who discovered Epic Sensation through a Sync London social media post following one of his appearances. That connection ultimately helped bring “I’m Great” back to life.
And the title says exactly what the track is about.
“I’m Great” is confidence without the ego. It’s about backing yourself when things aren’t moving as quickly as you’d hoped, staying individual in a world full of noise, and remembering that creative journeys rarely happen overnight.
That message connects closely with Epic Sensation’s own story. Originally from India and now based in the UK, he is building an international career that brings together Indian musical influences, UK rap, electronic production and contemporary global hip-hop. His use of both Hindi and English has become an important part of his identity, allowing him to move naturally between cultures while connecting with different audiences.
There’s also a playful side to the project. Because sometimes the most complicated creative journeys can be summed up in three words:
I’m. Great.
The release follows Epic Sensation’s growing work across music, DJ performances, live events, visual creativity and artist development. Through his UK-registered company, Epic Sensation Ltd, he is also expanding his creative world beyond music, with a new clothing brand currently being developed. The first products are being manufactured, printed and packaged in India before making their way to the UK.
For Epic Sensation, it’s all part of the same bigger picture: music, fashion, visuals and live experiences coming together as one creative universe.
