The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame (BMEWOF) hosted its 4th installation of the Crown Jewel of Excellence™ Black History Month Class of 2023 Induction Ceremony and Brunch Celebration on February 28th, 2023 – immediately following, The Black History Month Celebratory Brunch was held at the Thompson Buckhead Hotel. VIP’s in attendance included Will Packer, Yolanda Adams, Dallas Austin, Vashawn Mitchell, Mayor Andre Dickens, Representative Park Cannon, Isaac Carree, Wardell Malloy; and founders Catherine Brewton, Hon. Erica Thomas, Demmette Guirdy and Michael T. Mauldin.

About The Inductees
Ambassador Andrew Young is known as a leader in the Civil Rights movement, he has built a remarkable legacy as a civic activist, elected official, groundbreaking ambassador, social entrepreneur, and adviser to presidents. Today, he leads the Andrew J. Young Foundation’s efforts to develop and support new generations of visionary leaders who will create sustainable global approaches to economic development, poverty alleviation, and the challenge of hunger.
Danny Glover is an award-winning actor, producer, and humanitarian, with a performance career that spans more than 30 years. Glover has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Program, focusing on issues of poverty, disease and economic development in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. He currently serves as UNICEF Ambassador.
Dr. Bobby Jones is an acclaimed singer who has released 14 albums, toured internationally and won many honors, including Stellar Awards, Dove Awards, and a Grammy Award. He is often credited with giving gospel music its first national stage. Started in 1980, Bobby Jones Gospel is the longest continuously running show on cable and a Sunday morning staple of Black Entertainment
Television.

The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame is a joint initiative by the Black American Music Association, a 501(c)(6) professional membership trade organization, and Georgia Entertainment Caucus (GEC), a 501(c)(3) organization. With both a national and international appeal, the BMEWOF will honor iconic individuals and organizations that have impacted Black culture and community alongside those who continue to lead us into the future.

LORENZO TRAVIZ started a career as a kickboxer at a young age where he was able to demonstrate a lot of success, with mental strength and a will to succeed he was able to have a great career which led him to win and become a champion. Following this beautiful career, LORENZO TRAVIZ then decided to go into the fashion industry where he thought he could succeed, unfortunately after huge failures he understood that it was a new challenge for his life, with a warrior’s mentality he pushed the doors of the fashion industry with his atypical profile to make himself known, the world of fashion which is a very selective environment. LORENZO TRAVIZ opened the doors to the atypical profile and signed with the biggest modeling agencies in the world who were able to represent him to great celebrities. He continued with collaborations with luxury brands for whom he was able to do campaigns, as well as advertising, editorial magazines, cover magazines, and recently a very large collaboration with the famous Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO, a very prestigious luxury brand which held its show in Paris during Fashion Week, MIHARA YASUHIRO collaborated with LORENZO TRAVIZ during the event which was spectacular we can also find photos of the show on VOGUE, WWD, Madame Figaro as well as the biggest international magazines.
LORENZO TRAVIZ continues to surprise us in music with the release of his new title HOUSE OF SYMPHONY, with melodies that make us travel in the universe of LORENZO TRAVIZ we hope that a great album project will be realized, we know that the artist is preparing something we are eager to discover more. LORENZO TRAVIZ always accompanied by his manager RHIYEN SHARP is preparing very important projects, the artist who is very mysterious about his life and this project would not be long in reserving new surprises for us. LORENZO TRAVIZ ? we are waiting for the continuation of this beautiful adventure.
