“In My Dream” absolutely nailed me on the first listen. Cloud captures something real here that most songs miss entirely.

The track builds beautifully. What starts subtle becomes this powerful rush by the middle section. Luis Gerardo Moreno’s guitar is incredible, getting sharper and more commanding as it goes. Alex DP’s drums don’t just follow along either, they drive the whole thing forward. You feel every shift between verses and chorus.

The lyrics work in this perfect space between imagination and reality. “In my dream” versus “in my head” sounds small until you really hear what Cloud’s doing. Exploring the gap between who someone is in your thoughts versus who they actually are is bold territory, and Cloud handles it with real maturity. Most love songs don’t even try to go there.

Dreams are double edged in the best way. They lift you up and they wreck you at the same time. That duality comes through naturally without ever feeling forced.

You can feel the Nirvana influence in how the song moves between quiet and loud, between stillness and movement. Cloud isn’t copying though, just drawing from the same well in an original way. The three musicians work together so cleanly. Nothing steps on anything else. That balance is what makes this work.
