Detroit Artist Big Bank Homie Pushes Forward With “NightCrawler” as BBMG Builds Independent Momentum
The Detroit rapper and independent label builder enters a new chapter with "NightCrawler," the focus single from his completed 12-track project "Free Dymook."
"Every time my career was interrupted, I came back with a bigger vision. Now I'm building BBMG so the movement is bigger than one song or one artist." — Big Bank Homie
Detroit hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Big Bank Homie is building the next chapter of his career around "NightCrawler," the focus single from his completed 12-track project Free Dymook, through his independent label, Big Bank Music Group Inc. (BBMG).
The campaign arrives after years of movement through Detroit's independent music scene. Big Bank Homie's career has included live performances, radio exposure, artist events and relationships developed throughout the Midwest and beyond. His path has not been linear. Periods of incarceration interrupted his early momentum, but each return brought a renewed effort to rebuild his career independently.
After returning home from an earlier incarceration, Big Bank Homie organized and promoted a Detroit event featuring Jacquees and also performed during the event. Following another interruption in his career, he returned to music and event production, later developing his own branded events and continuing to expand his industry relationships.
His career has also included touring and traveling within hip-hop circles, including time around CMG-related touring activity and industry relationships. Rather than allowing the interruptions in his career to define the outcome, Big Bank Homie began developing BBMG as the infrastructure behind his music, promotion and future artist development.
"NightCrawler" now serves as the centerpiece of that expansion. The record was released in July 2026 and is being serviced independently to radio, DJs, college stations, music publications and digital tastemakers as BBMG develops its own promotional network.
The campaign has already generated new opportunities. Big Bank Homie was recently selected by Detroit's HOT 107.5 to advance to the public-voting stage for an opportunity to perform at the station's 2026 FREE Community Concert at The Fillmore.
The current push also supports Free Dymook, a completed 12-track project that represents the next phase of Big Bank Homie's catalog. Rather than relying on a single promotional channel, BBMG is developing an independent campaign spanning radio promotion, press outreach, digital marketing and direct audience development.
For Big Bank Homie, the larger story is one of rebuilding. Years removed from the beginning of his career, he is approaching music not only as an artist but as the operator of an independent label designed to create infrastructure that can extend beyond one release.

Catch The Young Releases New Single ‘PARANOIA’ Ahead of UK & Europe Tour
The band returns to Europe not long after being a headliner for K-INDIE ON FESTIVAL 2026 IN BERLIN
"PARANOIA is finally out in the world, and we wish you show it a lot of love. I'm also really looking forward to the UK and Europe tour. There's the curiosity of going somewhere we haven't been, and especially the thought of going to the UK, the home of band music, makes it even more exciting. I hope we can put on our best shows together with our fans in Europe as well." – SANI
PARANOIA is a new style of hard rock that blends various strains of rock music into CATCH THE YOUNG's own sound. The song is about overcoming fear and doubt, believing in yourself, and stepping into a new world. It captures the courage to keep moving forward, pushing beyond your limits, and reaching for the light. PARANOIA marks a new direction for the band, moving beyond their pop-alternative roots and embracing a more anthemic rock sound.
"PARANOIA is a bold, energetic track. Thinking about performing it with all of our fans at the shows already gets my heart racing. I really want to play it live as soon as possible, so please listen to PARANOIA, and I hope you give it lots of love." – NAMHYUN
Not long after the release of their new single, the band will embark on their UK and European tour, CATCH THE YOUNG 2026 EUROPE TOUR IGNITE EVOLVE. It will kick off in November in partnership with European live performance platform FRONTROW. The tour gives European audiences their first chance to hear the new release live. Further details of the tour will be announced through the band's official channels.
