Emcee N.I.C.E. Drops “Amen Right There” With Gospel Legends Canton Jones & Everett Drake
Bringing together four generations of music, Multi-Platinum Producer, Billboard chart topping Christian Hip Hop Recording Artists Emcee N.I.C.E., teamed up with two legends in Gospel, Billboard Charting, Stellar Award-winning Gospel Rap artist Canton Jones and the legendary Gospel singer Everett Drake (BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel show) on a song called “Amen Right There” produced by Sci Blw a 14-year-old prodigy and son of Canton Jones.
AMEN, RIGHT THERE” (ART) is what you say when you are feeling “thankful” and “fortunate” you respond with “Amen, Right There” or if someone is in need of prayer and encouragement it’s ART. The song is inspired by and features Gospel Legend Everett Drake, whose original hit “Amen Goes Right There” became a gospel classic and was the centerpiece of this true collaboration for 14-year producer Dominion Jones aka “Sci Blw” (pronounced Sky-Blue) which makes this an instant rap and gospel classic, especially with Canton and N.I.C.E., it crosses multiple genres in Christian/Gospel and Hip Hop/Rap, ART is very upbeat, a sing-along song with a dance vibe, that has south meets west bounce and melodies with a Kanye West “Through the Wire” type vibe. Instruments include Bass, Drums, Lead Guitar, Piano, and a hard hip-hop kick drum merged with Everett Drake’s gospel vocals and delivers a feel-good sensation.
Emcee N.I.C.E. Stated “To be amongst legends while also being considered one I give God all of the glory! Four generations of music are represented here by myself, Canton Jones, Everett Drake, and Young 14-year-old Sci Blw, the producer. Think about it, Classic Gospel, Gospel Rap, Christian Hip Hop, and a classic flip in a time where we need some joy and hope, this could become a song of the year!”
Canton Jones followed with “I am So blessed to work with the legendary Emcee N.I.C.E. And Everett Drake! I’m so humbled that my son, SCI BLW, produced a modern-day interpretation of a song that was already classic in “Amen Goes Right There!” me working with my son, is like Lebron and Bronny coming together, except, I beat LeBron James to it.
Everett Drake when reflecting on the song, “Words cannot express the joy and gratitude I feel knowing that this message will live on through another generation because of these amazing young Brothers, Emcee N.I.C.E. And Canton Jones!”
Sci Blw (pronounced Sky Blu) says, “It was great producing the beat, and I’m glad I could bless so many people with it including my peers!” Amen Right There is a song that is destined to bridge the gap between the Gospel and Rap, it’s radio friendly and it will uplift and unite listeners that love Christian Hip Hop, Gospel Rap, and Gospel music. Amen Right There!
