Gridiron Elite: Central Florida’s Battle-Tested 7v7 Program

Published

on

Central Florida has a dog in the national 7v7 fight, and its name is Gridiron Elite. Founded in 2018, the Orlando-area program fields 18U, 15U and 12U squads as a Battle national team, and its feed is a steady stream of tournament weekends on circuits like DR7 and Battle.

The program’s signature run came in February 2025 at DR7’s stop in The Villages, where Gridiron Elite’s 18U squad reached the championship game before falling 20-18 to Team Tampa in a two-point thriller — the kind of weekend that puts a program on every scout’s follow list.

That Villages run had a headline name under center. DR Sportz’s recap identified Gridiron’s quarterback as Noah Grubbs, a Notre Dame commit from Lake Mary — exactly the caliber of player the program has made a habit of developing and showcasing.

Eight years in, Gridiron Elite has grown from a local club into a Central Florida fixture on the national calendar, giving Orlando-area players a home team that plays a national schedule.

The next run at a DR7 crown starts soon. Follow the program on Instagram at @gridironelite7v7.

MoneyTeam Athletics: The Next Wave Is Here

Published

MoneyTeam Athletics introduces itself without a hint of humility: the No. 1 upcoming program in the nation. The Georgia-based outfit — an elite national 7v7 program specializing in training and exposure, now in its third season — has spent 2026 backing the talk up, in front of more than 4,000 followers.

Start with the sweep. In one March weekend, MoneyTeam won both the 14U and the 15U championships at the same event, then added the Peach State Shootout 9U title two weeks later — three age groups, three crowns, one month.

The company it keeps says the rest. On The Sevens’ official teams page, MoneyTeam stands in the 15U division alongside Atlanta heavyweights Hustle Inc and Huncho Elite, and the program also tests itself on the FSG Tournament Series circuit.

And exposure is more than a word in the bio. Through the spring of 2026, the account’s offer posts told the story: MoneyTeam players earning college offers from Austin Peay, Miami (Ohio), Wagner, Bowling Green, Georgia Southern and Troy.

The program calls its newest class “The Next Wave of MoneyTeam.” On this evidence, believe it. Follow the program on Instagram at @moneyteam_athletics.
