Katie Ferrara Releases Empowering New Single “Bloom” — A Song of Reclamation and Resilience

Award-winning singer/songwriter Katie Ferrara is proud to announce the release of her latest single, “Bloom”, a powerful anthem about breaking free from limiting roles and reclaiming one’s confidence and identity. The track is now available on all major streaming platforms.

“Bloom is a song about breaking free from the roles that others place on us and reclaiming the confidence to live life on our own terms,” says Ferrara. “For much of my life, I felt people tried to fit me into a version of myself that felt comfortable to them—whether it was the quiet friend who tagged along or someone who didn’t speak up. In my younger years I used to shrink. These days, I’m unlearning that conditioning and embracing my worth.”

Steeped in personal growth, “Bloom” is both intimate and expansive. With her signature blend of Pop, Folk, and Americana, Katie’s warm vocals and introspective lyrics reflect a transformative journey of self-discovery, freedom, and healing. Traveling and choosing environments that foster growth and positivity, Ferrara has used her life experience to fuel her creative expression—”Bloom” is the result.

Katie Ferrara’s path to success began on the streets of Los Angeles, where she performed as a busker in Burbank, Santa Monica, and local farmers markets. Her journey from street corners to international stages is a testament to her talent and tenacity. In fact, fans can still spot her image on a corner in Burbank—just search her name on Google Maps.

Now an internationally acclaimed artist, Ferrara has played festivals across South Korea, the UK, Europe, and New Zealand. As an independent artist, she has released several full-length albums including Dream Catcher (2016) and Break Free (2020)—both funded by her passionate fan base. Her music has also been featured on the Season 5 premiere of Hallmark’s Good Witch.

As a QSC and Yamaha-sponsored artist, Ferrara regularly performs at premier venues across Los Angeles. She is also known for using her platform to support causes close to her heart, including Whole Planet Foundation, Children’s Foundation of America, and Water.org.

With “Bloom,” Katie Ferrara continues to grow as both an artist and a voice of empowerment. The single invites listeners to stand tall, speak up, and live authentically—no matter the expectations of others.

Last Train to play UK dates!

After ‘Weathering’ and ‘The Big Picture’, acclaimed Lyon-based 4-piece Last Train‘s new album is a direct reflection of raw anger. Recorded in a crumbling, unheated chateau, ‘III’ channels frustration into meticulously composed rock. Formed in the 2010s, Jean-Noël Scherrer, Julien Peultier, Timothée Gérard and Antoine Baschung gained a strong following with their first two albums and toured with Muse and Placebo. In 2024 they released ‘Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’, an orchestral reworking of their songs, but the new album marks their true return to form as a rock band. Tracks like the first two singles ‘Home’ and ‘The Plan’ combine rock energy with melody, balancing emotional depth and anger.

With ‘III’, Last Train have produced a radical and authentic third album, far from the aseptic super-productions. With ‘One by One’ – the focus track, you’ll feel right in the band’s rehearsal room: screeching feedback, punchy drums, overflowing bass and incisive choruses. Provocative as it is, the track embodies a frantic race: the train will go on, with or without us. Mature, confident and increasingly daring, these ambassadors of French rock continue their dizzying ascent, no matter how high the wall!

The band are touring Europe extensively this year in support of the album, including a headline London show and appearances at Focus Wales and The Great Escape Festival. Don’t miss the chance to catch them live in all of their glory.

Upcoming UK shows:

8.05: Focus Wales, Wrexham (20:15- Ty Pawb)

10.05: Focus Wales, Wrexham (19:25- Penny Black)

12.05: The Grace, London (Headline show)

16.05: The Great Escape, Brighton (7pm at The Wing at The Brighton Centre).
