LINDSAY ELL FINDS HER “SWEET SPOT” WITH NEW SINGLE
Just Announced as Direct Support for Darius Rucker at Southern Fried Circuit Charity Event and Appalachian Summer Festival & for Maren Morris at Iowa State Fair
Lindsay Ell is back with “Sweet Spot” – her first single of 2023. The song comes as Ell returned this week to host Canada’s Got Talent, Citytv’s most-viewed original series in over a decade. It also follows Ell’s recent performances in the UK and EU with the Zac Brown Band for C2C: Country to Country – Europe’s biggest country music festival – and just ahead of her joining Shania Twain as her Special Guest on her North American Queen of Me Tour. Confidently pushing her into her next chapter of music, “Sweet Spot” delivers an upbeat reminder that the rollercoaster of life eventually leads everyone to exactly where they need to be — their very own sweet spot.
“Growing up, I learned how to ‘ride the wave’ of life most successfully by floating in the middle of the highs and lows but now I think that both pain and success give us beautiful perspectives on how to learn from our experiences and be grateful for what we have,” said Ell. “The sweet spot is something you can only find when you’ve been on both sides of it and that wouldn’t be possible without the constant ping-pong of life. I hope this song brings some levity — and a little dance party — to those currently making their way through these unpredictable highs and lows.”
Available everywhere today, “Sweet Spot” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ell. Kicking off 2023 with a Canadian Screen Award nomination for her work on Season One of Canada’s Got Talent (Best Host or Presenter, Factual or Reality/Competition) and the massive C2C shows in Glasgow, Dublin and London, the three-time CCMA Award-winning artist is looking forward to joining the Queen of country music, Shania Twain, next month. In addition, Ell was just announced as direct support for Darius Rucker on July 28th for his Southern Fried Circuit charity show in Anderson, S.C. as well as his show Appalachian Summer Festival show on July 29th and on August 17th Ell joins Maren Morris at the Iowa State Fair. Bex Lindsey Drops Her Heart-Hitting Holiday Single “not ready for christmas” — Out Today
Bex Lindsey isn’t sugar-coating the holidays this year—she’s cracking them open. Her brand-new single “not ready for christmas” is officially out today, and it hits with the kind of honesty most people only admit to themselves at 2 a.m. in the glow of a half-lit tree.
Instead of the usual sleigh bells and saccharine cheer, Bex leans into the raw, messy, beautifully human side of the season: the loneliness, the nostalgia, the heartbreak that refuses to stay quiet just because the calendar says be merry. It’s vulnerable, cinematic, and painfully relatable in a way only Bex can pull off.

Her vocals are warm but wounded, gliding over production that blends indie-pop shimmer with a bittersweet holiday bite. It’s the kind of song that sneaks up on you—soft at first, then suddenly lodged in your chest.
“not ready christmas” marks another bold moment in Bex Lindsey’s rising career. With The Process II earning love across indie music circles and her recent singles building serious momentum, Bex is proving she’s not just evolving—she’s leveling up. This release shows a deeper emotional range and a willingness to say what so many people feel but never say out loud.
The holidays can be complicated. Bex Lindsey just gave that feeling its own soundtrack.
“not ready for christmas” is available everywhere now.
