LINDSAY ELL FINDS HER “SWEET SPOT” WITH NEW SINGLE

Published

on

Just Announced as Direct Support for Darius Rucker at Southern Fried Circuit Charity Event and Appalachian Summer Festival & for Maren Morris at Iowa State Fair

Lindsay Ell is back with “Sweet Spot” – her first single of 2023. The song comes as Ell returned this week to host Canada’s Got Talent, Citytv’s most-viewed original series in over a decade. It also follows Ell’s recent performances in the UK and EU with the Zac Brown Band for C2C: Country to Country – Europe’s biggest country music festival – and just ahead of her joining Shania Twain as her Special Guest on her North American Queen of Me Tour. Confidently pushing her into her next chapter of music, “Sweet Spot” delivers an upbeat reminder that the rollercoaster of life eventually leads everyone to exactly where they need to be — their very own sweet spot.

“Growing up, I learned how to ‘ride the wave’ of life most successfully by floating in the middle of the highs and lows but now I think that both pain and success give us beautiful perspectives on how to learn from our experiences and be grateful for what we have,” said Ell. “The sweet spot is something you can only find when you’ve been on both sides of it and that wouldn’t be possible without the constant ping-pong of life. I hope this song brings some levity — and a little dance party — to those currently making their way through these unpredictable highs and lows.”

Available everywhere today, “Sweet Spot” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ell. Kicking off 2023 with a Canadian Screen Award nomination for her work on Season One of Canada’s Got Talent (Best Host or Presenter, Factual or Reality/Competition) and the massive C2C shows in Glasgow, Dublin and London, the three-time CCMA Award-winning artist is looking forward to joining the Queen of country music, Shania Twain, next month. Emerging Artist Pilar Victoria Drops Mesmerizing Track ‘Headphones’

Published

on

Rising artist Pilar Victoria is known for blending upbeat pop with melancholic undertones. Her latest single, “Headphones”, is here, and it’s a melodic journey through love and loss that’s bound to resonate with anyone who’s ever faced heartbreak.

Pilar Victoria, who grew up in Argentina and now calls Texas home, has a unique multicultural background that seeps into every note she sings. Her music is a beautiful tapestry of soulful melodies and deeply personal lyrics, reflecting her rich heritage and diverse experiences.

Her musical journey started young. Pilar Victoria was writing songs and playing instruments by the age of 11. Despite strict restrictions on social media usage, her passion couldn’t be contained. She began posting snippets of her music on TikTok, quickly gaining a loyal following. “I wasn’t allowed to be on social media growing up, but I decided to be anyways,” Pilar Victoria reveals. “I posted small clips of my songs on TikTok and got a lot of positive attention. It led me to release music on Spotify. I even had to convince my parents to support me financially for the distributor service.

Now, with “Headphones”, Pilar offers us her take on love and loss. The song, co-written with Nowels in Santa Monica, combines the melancholy of heartbreak with an infectious pop beat. Pilar explains, “I wrote this song during a tough time. I wanted to block out all the pain and intense emotions I was feeling, and putting on headphones became a metaphor for tuning out the world and being alone with my thoughts.

As she continues her journey as an independent artist, this new release is an invitation to explore the depths of her artistry.
