LLOREN drops poignant new track ‘LA LA Love’
Former ‘The Voice’ finalist and renowned TV sync music writer LLOREN releases her next single ‘LA LA Love’ on 11th April. The track is a slow-burning poignant pop song that is wrapped in a gorgeous atmospheric production and feels like all the best romantic film moments washing over the listener in a tide of beautiful reflection.
“I was really inspired by Lana Del Rey on this one—her ability to paint a romanticised picture of her relationships while also seeming to ask bigger questions, at least in my experience”, says LLOREN. “La La Love is a fictional story that plays with elements of truth, based on my time in L.A. I wanted to lean into that classic Hollywood romance on the surface while also addressing the more sinister side of having big aspirations. It’s easy to be taken in when someone promises to make all your dreams come true. There are plenty of devils in the City of Angels.”
Hit TV show The Traitors, Grey’s Anatomy, The L Word, 1923, Wish, The Company You Keep, Made In Chelsea, Love Island UK and Love Island USA are just some of the many sync credits LLOREN has amassed to date, which have steadily proved her rich, multi-faceted vocal and powerful contemporary inspired compositions to be a cut above the rest.
‘LA LA Love’ is another superb new example of this high quality in LLOREN’s work and another taster of her hugely anticipated forthcoming debut album ‘It’s Always Sunny in LA’. Tracks from the record have already picked up airplay from BBC Radio 2’s Angela Griffin and Radio X’s John Kennedy and press acclaim from prestigious music tastemakers The Line Of Best Fit, as momentum continues to build. LLOREN’s video for her track ‘Like This’ also won a Telly Award in the US, as well as also being nominated for a prestigious Leo Award in Canada.
LLOREN appeared at The Gibson Garage All Day Festival in London earlier this year and has also recently opened for American artist Fleurie on her European tour. During that tour, she also caught the eyes of promoters who invited her back to open for household names Johannes Oerding and Michael Patrick Kelly and an audience of 10000 people. In the UK, LLOREN is no stranger to the annual PRIDE celebrations having played both Manchester and London where she headlined the women’s stage and has entertained crowds over 10000. She has also toured with Canadian artist Mauvey with whom she collaborated with on the track ‘Pillow’, performing it at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend as well as the Isle Of Wight Festival 2023.

Vinyl Floor’s Balancing Act Proves That Honest Rock Still Matters
“Balancing Act” by Vinyl Floor is a real treat. It is the sixth record from brothers Daniel and Thomas Charlie Pedersen sounds like it was made for right now and how they blend the ’60s and ’70s with modern elements never feels forced.
The production is clear and thoughtful. Every string, every horn, every vintage keyboard has space to exist. “Puppet Laureate” opens strong with real energy, while “The Swan of Eileen Lake” catches you off guard with folk warmth. “Adelaide” might be the best track, built on a lovely piano line with vocals that cut through cleanly. No hiding behind effects here.
The title track closes things out with the reflection the album’s been working toward. The core idea of finding hope in a fractured world could tip into despair easily, but Vinyl Floor stays honest about it. They’re not offering false comfort, but they’re not drowning either.
Progressive rock this restrained is rare. The arrangements serve the songs instead of overshadowing them. If anything, some moments could use more breathing room, but that’s small in a record made by people who clearly care about what they’re saying.
This is for anyone who wants rock that actually wrestles with real ideas. It counts for something.
