The LPGA Tour’s Asian swing rolls on this week in South Korea with the BMW Ladies Championship, and the home crowd has a favorite to rally behind: Hye-Jin Choi.

Choi led the Buick LPGA Shanghai through three rounds last week and came within one shot of the title before Ruoning Yin’s birdie on the 16th hole settled it on Sunday. Now Choi gets to chase a trophy on home soil, with the Korean galleries behind her.

Yin arrives as the player to beat after her Shanghai win, her second victory of the season and the seventh of her career. The Asian swing is also where the Race to the CME Globe tightens: after The Annika in November, only the top 60 players in the standings qualify for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in Florida.

After South Korea, the tour continues to Malaysia and Japan before the season’s final stretch in Florida.

Blades Brown keeps making history before he can legally buy a drink.

The teenager finished alone in second at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at The Federal Club in Virginia, closing with a 2-under 69 to climb to ninth in the season-long points standings — and with that, he became the youngest golfer ever to earn PGA Tour status through the Korn Ferry Tour.

Brown began the finale already inside the top 20 who earn 2027 PGA Tour cards, so his week was about positioning rather than survival. He delivered anyway, finishing runner-up to Austin Hitt in the season finale of the PGA Tour’s developmental circuit.

He is part of a 20-man graduating class headlined by Hitt and points champion Ross Steelman. The Korn Ferry Tour has long been the proving ground where future major winners earn their stripes, and Brown now carries that ‘youngest ever’ label into his rookie season on the big tour in 2027.
