Luna Jones ‘Obsessed’ – A Raw Dive into the Complexities of Modern Love

Luna Jones has always been known for her ability to blend raw emotion with ethereal pop melodies, and with her latest single “Obsessed,” she takes that formula to a new level of vulnerability. In this track, she bravely tackles the complexities of modern dating, a world that often leaves people caught in situationships, uncertainty, and fleeting connections. With sharp, emotional lyrics and an undeniable pop edge, Luna has crafted a powerful anthem that speaks to anyone who has ever longed for something real in a sea of confusion.
The song opens with a subtle yet haunting production that mirrors the emotional undertones of the lyrics. Luna’s voice is striking—delicate yet fierce—and from the first note, it’s clear she’s pouring her heart into every line. The hook is instantly catchy, with a rhythm that mirrors the heartbeat of a generation navigating the complexities of love in 2025. It’s a track that feels both personal and universal, capturing a collective frustration with the ambiguity that often defines relationships today.
Luna’s lyrics are sharp and honest, declaring her refusal to settle for anything less than authenticity. In a world where situationships have become the norm, “Obsessed” stands as a declaration of wanting more—a call for clarity, real connections, and the courage to demand what one deserves. The chorus hits with power, reinforcing the idea that it’s time to stop pretending that casual encounters are enough. It’s a track about self-respect, vulnerability, and the relentless pursuit of genuine connection.
The production is sleek and polished, with lush synths and a driving beat that supports Luna’s voice without overpowering it. There’s a sense of forward motion in the music, mirroring the personal journey of breaking free from uncertainty and embracing authenticity. This isn’t just a song about love—it’s a statement about knowing one’s worth and not settling for anything that doesn’t align with that self-respect. Luna’s voice glides effortlessly through the verses, with each note dripping with emotion and strength.
With “Obsessed,” Luna Jones solidifies herself as a trailblazer in the pop scene. She has the unique ability to tap into the collective emotions of her audience, offering a space for vulnerability and self-expression. The track resonates with listeners who are tired of the games and are ready to demand honesty, both in relationships and in their own lives. As Luna continues to evolve as an artist, “Obsessed” is a testament to her unwavering commitment to creating music that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Last Train to play UK dates!
After ‘Weathering’ and ‘The Big Picture’, acclaimed Lyon-based 4-piece Last Train‘s new album is a direct reflection of raw anger. Recorded in a crumbling, unheated chateau, ‘III’ channels frustration into meticulously composed rock. Formed in the 2010s, Jean-Noël Scherrer, Julien Peultier, Timothée Gérard and Antoine Baschung gained a strong following with their first two albums and toured with Muse and Placebo. In 2024 they released ‘Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’, an orchestral reworking of their songs, but the new album marks their true return to form as a rock band. Tracks like the first two singles ‘Home’ and ‘The Plan’ combine rock energy with melody, balancing emotional depth and anger.
With ‘III’, Last Train have produced a radical and authentic third album, far from the aseptic super-productions. With ‘One by One’ – the focus track, you’ll feel right in the band’s rehearsal room: screeching feedback, punchy drums, overflowing bass and incisive choruses. Provocative as it is, the track embodies a frantic race: the train will go on, with or without us. Mature, confident and increasingly daring, these ambassadors of French rock continue their dizzying ascent, no matter how high the wall!
The band are touring Europe extensively this year in support of the album, including a headline London show and appearances at Focus Wales and The Great Escape Festival. Don’t miss the chance to catch them live in all of their glory.
Upcoming UK shows:
8.05: Focus Wales, Wrexham (20:15- Ty Pawb)
10.05: Focus Wales, Wrexham (19:25- Penny Black)
12.05: The Grace, London (Headline show)
16.05: The Great Escape, Brighton (7pm at The Wing at The Brighton Centre).
