Naesia Delivers A Captivating Debut EP ‘Indecisive’
Naesia’s ‘Indecisive’ EP is more than just music—it’s a soul-baring experience. From the first note, it’s clear the 25-year-old artist isn’t here to follow trends; she’s here to make a statement. As a singer, songwriter, and producer, Naesia is a triple threat, pouring every ounce of her talent into this four-track masterpiece. The result? A project that oozes authenticity and creative confidence.
The EP opens with the dreamy and atmospheric “Take Me High,” a track that feels like floating through a technicolor cloud of self-discovery. Her smooth vocals glide over a lush bed of R&B beats, perfectly encapsulating the emotional tug-of-war of longing and uncertainty. On the other end of the spectrum is “Mr. Mysterious,” a sultry Neo-Soul-infused number with trap undertones. The contrast between these tracks highlights Naesia’s versatility without sacrificing the EP’s thematic cohesion.
Lyrically, Naesia doesn’t shy away from vulnerability. The standout track, “Echoes,” sees her grappling with doubt and desire, her introspective lyrics delivered with heartfelt precision. Each word feels intentional, resonating deeply as the production swells around her voice like an embrace. You’re not just listening; you’re feeling every conflict, every moment of hesitation she explores.
The real magic of ‘Indecisive’ lies in its production. Naesia has crafted a soundscape that’s both intimate and expansive. The beats are sultry, the harmonies are intricate, and the attention to detail is remarkable. That she wrote, produced, and recorded this EP herself in her home studio is a testament to her artistry and determination.
In a world saturated with cookie-cutter pop hits, Naesia offers something refreshing: authenticity wrapped in hypnotic melodies. If ‘Indecisive’ is any indication, she’s a force to be reckoned with, and this EP is just the beginning of a trailblazing journey.

Concrete Club Pull Off Something Special on “People Like Us”
Concrete Club have always had that thing going on where they’re pulling from post-punk and indie rock without sounding like they’re trying to prove anything. This track takes that further. The synths sit in a way that makes you listen, and there’s this rhythm that just locks in and makes you want to move without thinking about it. It’s the kind of song structure that works on you after a few listens, not just the first time through.
What I’ve noticed about Concrete Club is that they’re not interested in smoothing out the rough parts. They’ve been grinding the Manchester circuit, building an actual following, and their songs aren’t about sounding polished. They’re about real things: what it’s like living in a city, losing track of time on nights out, trying to find something that makes sense when nothing does. “People Like Us” fits right into that.
Rowetta’s featured spot here is the thing that makes it work. Her voice against Jonny Brewster’s, with Kallum Delf on guitar, Mark Demuth holding down the bass, and Jamie Butterworth on drums, it all just clicks. They brought in Jonny McGill to handle the drums on this one, and you can feel the fresh energy that brought, but it still sounds unmistakably like them.
This is a song that gets better the more you sit with it. If you’ve been sleeping on Concrete Club, this is the one to start with. Listen here.
