NIQ-EL ANGELO GEARS UP TO DROP ‘ENIQMA EP’

Published

on

Niq-El Angelo proudly presents the ENIQMA EP, set to drop on January 29, 2025. This 6-track project is more than just a collection of songs-it’s a declaration of artistic freedom, dynamic creativity, and an acceptance of the fluid, melodic nature of existence.

In a world where it’s easy to fall into predictable patterns and lose touch with individuality and spontaneity, ENIQMA stands as a rebellion against conformity. Through its dynamic soundscape, the EP invites listeners on a journey of self- expression and evolution, emphasizing the embrace of the ever-changing nature of self, reality, and everything in between.

Rooted in Afro sounds yet unbound by genre, ENIQMA fuses an eclectic mix of styles to create a sonic experience that is unapologetically distinct. It captures the essence of freedom-freedom to create, to defy expectations, and to simply be.

Tracks like “Lala Land,” with its infectious uptempo energy, and “Kanayo Ginger,” exploring themes of perseverance and sacrifice, showcase the diverse sonic zones of ENIQMA. Meanwhile, “Chaos Theory” reflects the acceptance of chaos and the beauty of finding clarity within it.

“ENIQMA is me embracing the chaos and beauty that is self-expression,” says Niq-El Angelo. “It’s a journey integrated in a journey-where every step, every sound, is a part of a greater exploration of who I am and who I’m becoming.”

ENIQMA is the first installment of the Konquest Chronicles, a series that will take listeners on a journey through evolving sounds and creative exploration.

The Artwork

The cover art for ENIQMA features a silhouette of Niq-El, set against a backdrop of the night. The texts are subtle and ghostly, creating a trip-like effect as it’s read, aligning with the EP’s theme of fluidity and mystery.

Upcoming Plans

Following the release of ENIQMA, Niq-El Angelo will unveil exclusive visuals and continue the journey with subsequent installments of the Konquest Chronicles.
ENIQMA drops on all major platforms on January 29, 2025. Pre-save the EP now and follow Niq-El Angelo for behind-the- scenes content, updates, and more.

EMEREE’s Cinematic Pivot in ‘Eyesore’ from Pop Star to Pop Assassin

Published

on

EMEREE doesn’t just make music—she curates moments. Her latest single “Eyesore” is a cinematic, sarcastic scorcher that sets a new tone for the rising Australian powerhouse. From the candy-coated production to the horror-tinged DIY music video, EMEREE is creating her own genre: camp pop noir.

The single is a masterclass in balancing artistry with attitude. Co-created with Christian Tjandrawinata, “Eyesore” proves EMEREE isn’t here to play safe. She plays sharp, with razor-lined harmonies and lyricism that stabs with a smile. It’s not just catchy—it’s calculated. The beat bounces, the vocals glide, but it’s the burn in the lines that lingers.

Visually, EMEREE doubles down. The music video is a bloody wink to 80s slasher films, with a narrative as satirical as it is symbolic. She doesn’t just kill her ex on screen—she kills the whole trope. Pop stars often tell stories of heartbreak. EMEREE turns it into performance art.

EMEREE says, “Eyesore” is the anthem for anyone who’s ever dated someone who treated them horribly and just wasn’t hot enough to get away with it.”

EMEREE is making noise for all the right reasons—and with creative backing from CAA and sessions alongside Nile Rodgers and Invisible Men, she’s not just rising. She’s plotting her pop empire. “Eyesore” is both a warning shot and a love letter to anyone who’s ever made revenge their aesthetic.

It’s the start of something bold—and we’re already obsessed.
